Weakness that I see is inconsistency throwing the ball. ASU offense is not built to throw it 35+ times a game. So he as QB is not built for that. He struggled in games where they got behind early.

I don't see getting behind early as JD's weakness rather the Offensive Coordinator not having the framework/ability to come from behind.

Daniels has 32 TD passes in 2 full seasons + 4 games. I get that Daniels brings the wheels, but I'm not sure if that's an element this team desperately needed considering the strength of the WR group. I feel like anything he gets you on the ground is at the expense of maximizing the talents of the wideouts.

Could it be that the D having to always think about a QB breaking containment would in fact make the passing game more effective?

Also look at his passing yardage, over 6,000 career passing yards. Hasn’t thrown a ton of tds but has put up yards on the ground and through the air.

You can’t watch a few games of this dude and a few games of Brennan and even think it’s a competition if you are honest with yourself.

This is our starter and I expect him to be one of our best QB’s ever to be honest if he stays 2 years. Hope he can hold up to the punishment of the SEC though.

Where's TrueTigerTales at?

I'm sure he'll be in here quickly, slobbering all over Jayden a la boyfriends Lindsey and T.J.

Could have used a running QB with some talent the last 2 years the way our OLine has played in that timeframe.

I wasn’t familiar with this kid but after looking and reading about him, he’s solid. His mobility might be the key.

I have a strong feeling that we’re either running a 2 qb system or Brennan’s gonna be backup.

Dang, the guy hasn’t taken his first practice snap but you already know he’s not good enough for LSU football. Could I talk you into giving me Wednesday nights winning lottery numbers?

I think he’s accounted for like 44 touchdowns in a little over two years. Does that make him any more worthy of a look?

I’m wondering, what exactly have our other QBs proven to this point in time?
