Who is our O-line coach?
Didn’t he spend 4 years at San Diego prior to LSU?
Didn’t San Diego go 5-11 in 2016?
No OC will be successful with poor line play. What is being done about that?

One would assume a new OC would bring in new personnel.

This isn't Cregg's Oline. He is working with Grimes abortion of an Oline depth chart.

his stint with the Chargers is only brought up when speaking kindly about the guy. get with the program.

and besides, he was only an OL assistant coach.

Poor line play is due to Ensminger's archaic scheme.

What makes it archaic?

He was assistant OL coach with the chargers last year, assistant OL coach with the broncos 2014-2016

Coaches with O at USC 2010-2013 which is all that matters

If you had anything to do with USC in 2013 or LSU in 2016 you’re the guy for O

OC needs to be able to use all the weapons on the team. Gotta be able to run or pass when you want. Haven’t been able to because of protection which has gotten worse the past few weeks.

Opposite of modern/cutting edge (Freeze, Briles, Dabo, Riley, etc..)

Freeze or Briles EASILY work around protection issues.

Come on, Sparky, you've seen those guys operate.

Orgeron is never going to bring in an OC, who if successful, would potentially take his job. Remember what Orgeron did to Kiffin and Miles, someone is certainly capable of doing it to him.

Ensminger has the job, because Ed doesnt fear him.

I don't buy this. As a coach, once you sign your name on that dotted line, they're your guys.

In the college football world everyone doesn't get 4 recruiting classes before they're judged.

The offensive line had nothing to do with us not scoring 1 point

LSU has needed fresh blood and new ideas on the offensive side of the ball for a decade.

If we have a talent issue, we need to bring in someone to better utilize the talent that we have.

People keep saying it doesn't matter who the OC is, we will fail.

I ask you, is SE the best option at OC? If not, why are we not trying to get the best option? We are trying to fix the oline problem by recruiting better talent. Why not try to get an OC who can gameplan/call plays/coach QBs better?

The O line coach is not responsible for the poor recruiting to this point. You have to give the guy another year. I think our strength program has declined as well. Bama coaches up players better then we do. Not just QBs.

The Bama D line is stronger and quicker than our Oline. The GAP is very large.. our line was also dominated by Florida and Miss St as well.

We are ina complete rebuild. We started 2017 with only 11 O line on the roster most have 16 to 17. We lost a couple of those to transfer and other matters.

The move of Rosenthal to tackle Chases Himes to,Guard. Both from defense helps. Kardell Thomas helps. Clearly reinforcements are coming.

D line rotation is not what we thought. Mostly because Tyler shelvin. Has not developed. They are only using 5 in the rotation. Can Cotton Play. Never hear his name. Will Shelvin ever develop. Fehoko was clearly hurt. He could not wrap up.
