Everybody else is grading the coaching staff. What are your grades.

Aranda - B
- The defense put us in a position to win every game. They also produced 3 all-americans, and a Butkus award winner. What stops them from getting an A is that the defense didn't do enough to flat out win the Florida and aTm games. They are not free from blame in those games, however in each they did enough to win.
Ensminger - C-
The only thing that keeps Ensminger at a C level is the offensive line injuries, and suspensions. Tough for him to control that, but regardless the OLine should have performed better against some of the opponents that they did terribly in. WR drops were as big of a problem as I can remember. What makes it worse is we hired a WR coach to coach our other WR coach. Two coaches, with poor results. A clear lack of identity was evident all season. We see Burrow emerge as a runner in the aTm game, but he wasn't used that way all season. It just changed from game to game. Poor scheme, and execution was a problem all season, minus the Georgia game. We all know what the offense looked like in the Bama game.
Orgeron - B
9-3, with maybe the most impressive win of anybody in the nation against Georgia can't be ignored. NY6 bowl is a great accomplishment. Recruiting seems to be going really well. I believe O should have been named SEC Coach Of The Year. With a win in the Fiesta Bowl and a strong finish to recruiting and I'll would bump O up to a B+/A-. Offense needs to show massive improvements next season though.

I’d give Ensminger less than a C-
Even with suspensions and injuries the offense was wildly erratic and usually just terrible.

Who else would you give it to?
Saban and Smart would obviously grade out higher, but they simply did what was expected. Maybe UGA slightly underachieved with the LSU loss. If you want to give it to Saban, go for it, but he could win it every year.
Next up would be Kentucky and LSU. Both 9-3. Both with big wins. Both exceeded expectations. Kentucky beat UF. LSU lost to UF. Kentucky lost to Georgia. LSU beat Georgia. I would tip it to Orgeron here.

Lmao no dude. You would tip that to LSU??? We are LSU. Kentucky is not a football school. Them having success is basically like them winning newcomer of year. If vandy has that record next year their coach should win also.

I don't have an issue with you thinking O could be SEC coach of the year. What I'm saying is that it doesn't make sense to say he should be SEC coach of the year but only give him a B grade.

Ben, you confuse me. You agree with OPs grading but then attack him in the same breath.
If I were to call E or O a big zero you would flip your shite and take the moral high ground about how you can criticize coaching but it's wrong to personally attack people. Isn't that exactly what you're doing here? Well not 100% I guess. You didn't even disagree with the OP. You just agreed and then attacked him. Seems pretty hypocritical on your part, no?

I see your point. However, when you compare expert expectations for LSU and Kentucky this year, LSU overachieved as well by a good bit. I don't have a problem with Kentucky getting it, but there is an argument to be made for Orgeron.

That's, to me, the reason he should get a C. After UGA it was like the offense was regressing. Burrow didn't even have a TD pass for an entire month of the season.

If I had to guess it was because of Brennan's lingering injury. With the little depth at QB they probably didn't want to risk the exposure.
