Brennan looks like shite.

#1. Brennan was the best passing QB. Skinny and still needs to put some weight on but he was hands down the most polished and accurate of the three.

#2. McMillan impressed me with his elusiveness, reminds me of Jalen Hurts. May make some plays in the passing game by buying more time and can move the chains with his feet if the WR's are covered. Still not a real threat to consistently move the offense down the field through the air.

#3. Narcisse is not ready to run the offense. He's not quite the running threat that I expected him to be but he is likely a load to bring down. Has a very strong arm but needs a lot of work on his reads and accuracy.

Biggest take away from the game is that we have a $#!T load of big athletic targets. MB is the best bet to take advantage of the abundance of talent at WR and TE. McMillan is the best 2nd option. We may only see Narcisse on goal line or short yardage situations.

Does he not have the instincts to play football?

The whistle blew from #2 getting touched.

liked how McMillan scrambled. He seemed able to dodge rushers and had quickness moving downfield

The backup tackles played like turnstiles in those videos.

Lol I missed the spring game due to work. We got some sorry arse fans. You would think that Brennan was god awful from reading the comments on here. I watched all 3 qb's in this thread. McMillan looked the most comfortable but by no means does he offer us the best chance to win. Look if the season started tomorrow you go with McMillan but Brennan rushed some throws and had plenty of pressure when he did. He should have had 2 td's but Dillon dropped the one. Narcisse is just not ready he has a long delivery and just doesn't impress me. Hell he would have gotten sacked in a real game on his td throw. Brennan is young and just needs to settle down and he will be fine and he can make the throws which we will need in the SEC. The competition is between McMillan and Brennan for the qb spot. I think our OL will be fine when everyone is back and healthy.

Your boy Narcisse is not the answer after watching that film. Sure he can run but if you can't pass then we are done on offense. We need someone to open up the field with the pass. He had a bunch of high throws and just takes to long with that delivery. McMillan or Brennan for the starting job

After watching all three of those, there is no question who has the most upside of the three.. Lowell Narcisse... Im a Brennan kind of guy... I like the pocket passer.. but NArcisse is just a damn football player... exceptional athlete.. good arm and he is dangerous with his feet.. I know he has a ways to go but you could tell he started getting more and more comfortable as he went.. will still make stupid decsions.. they all will, but narcisse is legit.. he better be ready.. Brennan does not have the lbs of protection needed for the SEC... Brennan looked ok... and JM had a good day, but I still think it will come down to a two horse race between the pups.. Narcisse def gives you the best chance vs Bama for sure...

If we were to play tommorrow id have JM start...

The one and only. The one with a HS and Juco natty, that's already #2 behind Lock, who is better than anything on our roster. Thats him.

Almost half his yard came on one pass play where the DE tagged him on his back and in a real game he would be eating dirt.

Correct. That wasn't an exceptional pass by any means. It really doesn't do anything for the argument that he should be the starter.

But, his ability to slide around in the pocket does. Brennan hasn't shown that. In fact, Brennan is showing more of a nervous behavior in the pocket. Narcisse is the furthest behind, but unless Brennan settles down, he's going to get passed up by Narcisse.

the TD to Justin Jefferson, that is an NFL throw.

Look at the throw at 4:30 to Justin Jefferson. 40 yard dime that goes through his hands, should have been a TD.

He wasnt steve young but throws like this show me enough that he has it in him.

Giles drops another one.

Dillon drops one.

Brennan reminds me of Andrew Hatch.
Brennan was literally running for his life!
Even if Brennan wins the starting job he won’t last very long.

McMillan knowing precisely when to leave the pocket and scramble was clearly evident. He moves at a quick tempo in those play action passes and even threw one well moving to his right. I think his type of game is perfect for this team (and college football in general).

This is my exact thoughts as well. I think McMillan can improve enough to be good for us in a RPO offense. Helaire and Curry, in the backfield with McMillan would be a dangerous run game, and we have all kinds of diversified talent at WR and TE where all he'd have to do is get the ball to them and let them do their thing.

Loved that back shoulder pass to Anderson and how he looked off the defense. Loved the deep TD pass to Davis where he went to his second read (Davis was also a beast on this). Loved the improvising where he dodged one tackler by spinning and then tossing it to Helaire, who fought for a first down on 3rd and 10. Loved the deep pass to Drake early in the game down the sideline that he should have caught, and would have been a TD. Loved the improvised running when the pocket broke down.

He made several bad throws, but he also made several very good plays. I can see the potential to be good. We'll have to wait and see how it all goes though.

No, the guy who tucked tail and ran to Missouri instead of working to win the job here.
