Ever since JD announced he's returning, everyone knew the plan

All I've read on here is how good of shape we are in because we will have JD next year and then Nuss will have two years to start.
Not once did someone mention Howard, but now we're mad he's gone.
Its the way it is nowadays and I dont think it means he sucks. Maybe Nuss and him are both good? I wish him the best and its stupid to think he was just going to sit here another 3 years holding a clipboard.

JD returning has nothing to do with Howard. If this were Nuss, maybe.

He’s a freshman and was the #2 QB recruit in the nation…he may end up being a bust or the next Joe Burrow. That said, this isn’t a good thing or something to be happy or excited about.

I think most people believed Nuss would be the transfer. Howard was mentioned a ton on here.

You can't deny it does suck losing a home grown 5 star QB, but with that said the 5 star got beat out by 4 star Nuss. Howard doesn't have a path to play with Nuss in his way so Howard is leaving.

I think this is far more about Nuss' performance than Daniels.
Also this is why we really needed Myles to step up and beat out Nuss and Daniels. Having Myles start this season would mean open competition to the other 3 this year. Maybe Nuss beats out Daniels and we lose Daniels after spring but Howard probably stays thinking Nuss goes pro early.

I'm not upset. Wish he would have stayed because I think he may be good. But if he feels he cannot win the job at LSU, why would I want him to stay?

What I'm more amused by are the people on here who now suddenly say he sucks and we didn't need him anyway. 2 months ago people on here said he was the best QB in practice by far. Never change Rant.

JD returning has everything to do with Howard leaving. Howard’s family was only expecting to be in QB2 slot this year. Nuss starting 2 yrs beginning this year put Howard on track to develop for 3 and start 2.
