Well now it really makes absolutely zero sense we didn’t see Cowan Friday night. We win that game if he throws.

Should start Cowan and use Evans in relief!

We’re probably not getting length out of Evans. Might be looking for him Cowan and Fontenot to cover the whole game.

I'm pretty sure its Evans and Cowans today maybe Fontenot as well.

you gotta empty the chamber at this point. Basically you have two chances to win a bunch of games in a row to make the tournament and the first one starts today.
not sure it would be enough just to win 4 in a row though

Absolutely correct. This is why some of the forward thinking posters are starting to see some very flawed thought processes from JJ.
He needs talent head and shoulders above the comp to win nattys, but even that’s not enough to win SEC championships over the 30 game grind.

Glad he could comeback. Great news for next year.

Think the plan was probably have him go in long relief yesterday and then we gave up 8 runs in the second inning

I like the change of pace when you eventually go to Cowan.

As does Jay. He’s always like going from fast to slow when changing pitchers.

so did Evans have an injury or just an illness? Jay said it was an illness but would have to evaluate him later? Jay is usually tight lipped on injuries. I don't see being out 3 1/2 weeks for an illness.

A day late in a dollar shot Georgia is throwing their ace today it really doesn’t matter he should’ve used him on Friday or Saturday

Hindsight is we should’ve went all out to win Friday. Should’ve used Cowan then went to Evan’s to close it out
