Dugas was never left on base because he was hitting all them home runs.

Must clean that up in Knoxville. Also 8 errors in 5 games is unacceptable as well. Cannot give the Vols free bases.

Too see the raw stats is pretty interesting.

Bianco’s 4 hits were 4 of the biggest hits of his life and of the season.

I wouldn’t have guessed Doughty was on base so much feeling Ike it was all first pitch fly outs all weekend.

Morgan uncharacteristic being arguably the best 1st baseman in the country with 2 errors. And getting picked off in three straight games in inexplicable, as is Thompson’s 3 errors, each of which seemed to be at critical moments.

Digiacomo’s ONE hit was a walk-off in the 1st elimination game.

And personally, just don’t remember Arnold hitting so well last weekend. Clearly he did.

What a series! Geaux Tigers!

Crews 2nd game against Oregon.

Should have swung at the first pitch during his 2 strike outs.

They were cheese

Morgan and Doughty's bats needs to wake back up for the super regionals, while Crews, Arnold, and Dugas' bats stay hot.

I'm going to guess that he becomes a far more aware baserunner. He's clearly a good player, sometimes it takes a weekend like that to kick you in the nuts, and make you fix a part of your game.

This tells me somebody really needs to step up in that DH spot. Absolutely no production at that spot and we really need somebody to hit especially with Milazzo being an automatic out.

While Beloso did not register a hit in Eugene, he did hit into a fielders choice which scored Dugas to tie the game on Monday night. Then he was on 1st base during the inexplicable Balk by Somers to give us the lead. Once Beloso moved to 2nd on the Balk, Safford pinch ran and ultimately scored the 9th and final run on Thompson’s single. Beloso’s run turned out to be the game winners, as Oregon scored 1 in the 9th. We definitely need our DH position to improve a lot, and to get on base in Knoxville, but Beloso was a key contributor to our regional clinching game last night.

and for those not aware... a FC does go down as an 0/1 AB... just like if he had actually gotten out

it's not like a sacrifice fly or sacrifice bunt that just goes down in the stats as a plate appearance but not an at bat

ETA: that said... he (obviously) did get a RBI for that run on the FC

You know the stolen base stats against LSU? Wonder what percentage of would be base stealers Milazzo threw out.

I'm surprised you don't remember Arnold hitting well. He was a standout, for sure.

Morgan was really sloppy, with those two errors and three times picked off. Hopefully he got that out of his system.

Tre needs to be back at leadoff. As soon as he was moved down, his hitting and fielding suffered. Crews, the power hitter, should be at 3, IMO.
