So you want to pass over a guy that's an upperclassman and has college exp for a guy that had his last snap vs high school competition?
Typical
YES! What would it hurt to give him a couple of series? What's the worst he could do? Throw an INT to lose a game? Our starter has already done that!!! A little change up wouldn't hurt, at all. Call us typical all you want, but it's better than sitting on your arse trying to shove a square peg in a round hole.

Harris is not the first QB ruined by exposure to CLM & CCC'S TOXIC OFFENSE
Cam Cameron was not the coach when Jordan Jefferson was on the team.
He started with Mettenberger.

Its week 2 coming up. Its not Harris, its the system. Etling will look even worse, book it.

I'm still shocked Les gave Brandon Harris the wheel in the 2014 MSU game (which we actually had a chance to win at the end). Doubt that will happen.

I think you are confused. Lee was undefeated that year. Miles put JI in when his suspension was over and he shite the bed.

I think a new OC would fix things more than another QB, just viewing from the outside. The playcalling majorly lacked any creativity or anything even remotely different, which leads to opposing defenses being overly prepared in knowing what to expect. I actually think Les could stay and Harris continue starting - but with a new OC - and things would improve drastically.
Your defense was (and has been) pretty dominant and will only continue to get more so under Aranda, yet Les changed the DC instead of OC. If there was one rock solid argument to get rid of him, I think that would be it. After all, Les is a good coach and one of the best in LSU history, but when you're more of a CEO type coach that relies on the assistants mistakes like those are inexcusable.

If Miles doesn't bench Lee we lose to bama the first time. Period.

True Jefferson was not a Cam baby but he was adversely affected by CLM'S disdain for thr passing game.
Like Harris and others he regressed during the offseason while all of us saw a bright future for him.
CLM hired CCC and this further intensified the corrosive effect of the philosophy that everytime you pass the ball 3 things can happen and two of those things are BAD!!!
CLM + CCC = 1960s Big 10 squared!
Consider the effect on a young passer or reciever or pass blocker of a head coach and offensive coordinator who constantly bring this negativity to their players.

Rightly benched with an undefeated record?

I don't think etling is the ticket. He stunk it up in the spring game.
I'm good with giving Scott a chance. He seems like a gamer.

We were talking about Scott. I don't care if it's a scrimmage...Harris blew it at a crucial time, when all he needed to do was not lose the game. The system might suck, but a second year starter needs to be aware of his situation. It's not like it was fourth down and we needed a TD to win.

UGA and Bama did it last night and Texas is doing it right now. Don't get sucked up into experience. I've learned that experience doesn't mean shite if you just ain't got it.

The game was lost way before the interception.
The offense was completely shut down in the first half and the coach never flinched.

Harris has no confidence and nothing is going to change that. I wouldnt ruin Scott by having him play for this staff.

Our OL is absolutely terrible.
They didn't protect Mett during 2013. The OL has been spotty at best in pass protection for years. I guess that Miles doesn't really believe in the passing game so they never get better at that.
Problem is - they're not an elite run blocking team either, like they were in 2011 or even last year. And that's a big problem going forward.

I nor you nor anyone else on this board knows that Etling "just ain't got it"
He hasn't even taken the first fricking snap.
Geeees.

I am in total agreement. I also think that LSU has a great kid in Lindsey Scott. He is very intelligent and has a QB mentality. No matter what happens ghe rest of the season the Brandon Harris experiment should be over. He is just terrible has zero confidence in him himself. Crying on the sidelines is becoming his trademark and it is time to move on. The team needs a leader. Harris is not that guy.

Harris a a plug. He just doesn't have what it takes to play qb.
Posted on 9/4/16 at 7:29 pm to dwr353
No. Lee shite the bed at Bama and was benched after throwing 2 consecutive interceptions. JJ came in in relief and played well.
