Long boring practices. Just like the games. It's probably more mentally tiring than physical doing things over and over at the same slow pace .You get stuck in that groove so that's how you play . Can you imagine. I get burnt out and tired after listening to Les's meaningless shite for 2 minutes
Miles is an idiot He thinks that if a qb thinks he's good he will be good. It's all about being comfortable for les's qb. So , everything in practice is to make Harris think he's a real qb and as comfortable as possible. The easy throws , one read at at time , knows what the defense will do and etc etc. Any little pressure it goes to shite. He trhrew high at the manning camp. Big pressure . Harris doesn't have the mental toughness to play qb. He can't read a defense. He's no leader. Les is ignorant
I really don't care what he skips and if he's smiling are hanging lip. As long as I don't ever have to see him take another snap at L.S.U. He's a bust. He doesn't need more time. The switch is not going to come on. He is not going to stop throwing high. He's just doesn't have what it takes to be a QB. He has no instincts that a QB needs . That's all there is too it. Not all kids make it at this level. Besides Lsu's offense being the worst fit for him. He couldn't make it in a spread offense.
Harris has no chance to be successful in Lsu's offense . They should have never offered him a scholarship if they had no plans on changing the offense . They wasted his time and ours. Should have let the kid go somewhere were he had a chance to use his strengths. Lsu would have been better off with a 2 star pocket passer. If it don't fit you must acquit
System is shite. But they did try to throw on the second possession . Three times. Harris could not hit his targets. (He didn't get much help from receiver) You can't open up the passing game if your qb isn't accurate and can't make the reads. It's still the coaches fault. Either they not coaching him up or they sticking with him too long if he can't be coached up

Only two receivers need. Third receiver is out of Harris's read progression
Having all the athletic tools to play qb . Doesn't always translate into being a good qb .

Problem with Lsu

Coach- miles idiot
Qb guru -Cam - can't develop a qb
Qb- Harris -not mentally tough , no sense of time. Can't read a defense , can't run option read , throws high ,can't throw the dump pass , can't get the team up to line in time ,etc.,etc.,etc. (claims to have the strongest arm in college football)
Recruiting - in top 5 or 6 every year. But never seems to fill teams needs
Kicking game - sucks
Team- comes out flat , lack of emotion , gets down if not winning ( a wild guess due to coaching )

Etc.
Harris a a plug. He just doesn't have what it takes to play qb.
Its simple math. When you recruit qb's that don't fit your offense , you refuse to change your offense to fit their strengths , can't develop a qb to save your life , and refuse to make a change at qb or play calling. It adds up to a piss poor passing offense
