In all honesty which would you rather have under center this weekend ? I'd say Etling but only by a small margin. I think Brennan will be a stud in years to come .

Auburn would snap Brennan in half.

its gonna be Etling so let this rest. If we are playing this game I'd like to have a dual QB system with Etling and L. Scott.

With this line we have potentially playing this Saturday it would probably be better for Etlimy to get the nod.

Whoever it is, with Malone and Weathersby both missing practice, they better be able to make the pre-snap reads. We need to have the QB do a 3 step drop and fire because I don't see him having much time at all this week.

Etling, Brennan obviously isn't ready yet.

Neither,

Jefferson and Lee should get to return play, while MILES is on the sidelines for the NC celebration ...

Has to be Etling. While Brennan is clearly the future, throwing him in as a freshman against a defense like Auburn's would likely be disastrous.
We have to live or die with Etling, hope that the O-line can get the running game going and hope that our defense can keep Auburn from scoring a pile of points.

Playing at Jordan Hare compared to Tiger Stadium is totally different. I hope they give Brennan some snaps this game though.

I agree with the principle. But not every quarterback is Brandon Harris. Some freshman play well regardless of the opponent. It’s happening this year in Athens.

This is not a winnable game by LSU. Why not let Brennan go out there and get some experience for the future. Let Etling play the games that are actually winnable and hope that LSU can scratch out 6-7 wins

Brennan's stats:
10 of 18 55.6% 160 yards 1 TD 2 INT

That's against Syracuse and Troy, in Death Valley.

If the offensive line was light. I would start Brennan to get him ready for next season. If I played him I'd keep him in shotgun formation. Just don't trust OL right now

I still agree. But the 18 pass sample size absolutely does not make him Brandon Harris.
