Well, that's just retarded whoever's putting this poll together because ULL wouldn't have beat LSU last season with LSU's bad defense and all. Lol I don't know where or how I should say some of these fools get the positions that they get at ESPN and other places.

beating up on the dead big 12 is hardly noteworthy. OU has been doing that for the past 20 years.
OU has been to the CFP 4x going 0-4 and giving up an average of 50 points per game. Putting them #1 is silly.

They will be good with that kid at QB (Rattler I think is his name), but they will be typical OU with a lot of high scoring and bad defense.

To be fair there are arguments to be made that every team sucks and isn't deserving of their ranking except for a few schools each season.
But ya still gotta release a top 25 so what can ya do?

Napier is helluva coach who has done a great job. I don't see why that offends some lsu fans. We need to worry about us.

Napier is a good coach and that does not offend me, I give people their props when they are doing good work. All I was saying is that I don't think they beat LSU last season even with the terrible defense that LSU played all of last season because at some point the difference in talent takes over for LSU during the game.

ETA: ULL has scored 25 total points in 22 games against LSU all-time. They have scored 6 points against LSU since 1925

I love how you went out of your way to correct the list to say “Louisiana-Lafayette” instead of the more commonly used “Louisiana”. This bothers some people so damn much.

ESPN is a joke! They sold out to the woke crowd and their network has since been in decline. Luckily for them they are basically the only game in town.

A few weeks ago the LSU sports website posted the softball rankings, two polls. Both had "Louisiana" on their websites but LSU sports edited one to say Louisiana-Lafayette but the other one still said Louisiana.
guess they got sloppy and missed it.
