OSU had every opportunity to make it right. You can give the ump a break for being off by one inch 100 feet away in full speed. OSU requests a challenge, it's all good. So OSU lost because OSU fricked up.

This is barely better than "if not for that game winning home run in the 9th, the other team would have won."

They are advertising for the game today to get more viewers. It's not complicated

Good

Hopefully that's all OSU is being told is how they should have won yesterday and today shouldn't even count.

What's even worse is the umpire shouting "HALL" everytime there's a strike.

Yelling something similar to "HA" is pretty common.

Why do you douchebags bitch about this so much? That was the biggest play in the biggest game of the season that changed the outcome of the game. Of course they're going to fricking talk about.

If ESPN talks about the foul ball, and no ones around to start a thread about it, does it make a sound?

Oregon State had two hits. They'd get one run out of that and who's to say they'd get any more with their inability to hit the ball. LSU won by 2.

Champions always need a little good luck along the way. That was some of our good luck.

I expect a lot of make up calls to go OSU's way today. I'm preparing myself for it. Hope the Tigers can get the bats going today!

I think the real news is the ineptitude of the Oregon's coaching staff. End of story.

Difference is that they would have said its on LSU for not asking for the replay but of course this wouldn't of happened to LSU because Paul would have been out there before the ball hit the ground. On top of that they would have still called it foul or said its non reviewable then said LSU got screwed, end of story. Idk why our fans give a darn about OS?

This place would be melting over maineiri not asking for a review. I haven't seen ESPN or one beaver fan put any blame towards Pat casey. Paul would never live that down

Why would they? It's a huge play... if the roles had been reversed this place would be on full melt for 2 weeks.

Yeah, it's not like we still don't get worked up over this

What about the ump strike zone being different for Thompson than Lange? What about them not calling the obvious HBP for Slaughter in the 9th. Give me a break

Have to disagree, they (all 3 announcers) appeared to heavily favor OSU.

Can't stand when people say shite like this. They lost 4 games all year. Talking about their season and what makes them a great team isn't favoring them. They always give LSU their due as well.

I tend to agree with this as well. Yeah, we got lucky. But Casey plain and simple dropped the ball and said as such in the in-game interview.
