I didn't think it wasn't more popular than college baseball, but neither are terribly popular and the fellow I responded to suggested that most who didn't follow college baseball would know who she was. I don't think 10% of espn viewers knew who she was before all this personal story stuff.

THe point is, attaching a known figure to college baseball who is not ordinarily associated with college baseball could muster up some interest from ones who wouldn't normally even remotely care about the game.
