Kim is the most well-known person associated with the program outside of louisiana. Most people don't watch College baseball much LSU college baseball. It's not that hard to understand.

they're having to use a women's basketball coach to make college baseball relatable to their viewers. that should tell you how little people outside of louisiana care about college baseball.

Gonna let you in on a little secret. People across the country don't exactly share the affinity for college baseball that LSU (and a select few other) fans have. Thus they need anything to get the attention or interest of the casual observer. People who don't follow college baseball are fairly likely to know who Kim Mulkey is. It's not terribly complicated

How is anyone an LSU fan and doesn't know Baseball is going on?
That's the biggest piece of shite I've read all day. And that's saying a lot.
Baseball has been a big part of this university for 30 years.
No way someone can call themselves a fan and not know we're in the CWS right now.
