Proud of CEH.

Dude has one of the filthiest spin moves I've ever seen.

Was only a decoy in the passing game most of the night. The best is yet to come :-)

He fell into the perfect situation. I think Clyde and Fournette have big seasons this year. Both have all the pieces around them to succeed

The difference is that Buga will only have one good year before BradGronKowSky retire to collect Medicare. And, that's assuming that either of them survive the entire season (especially Gronk, who's been as fragile as a dropped glass christmas ornament the last few years he played). And, that's assuming those two geriatrics play at anything close to what they did a year or two ago.

On the other hand, Clyde is pretty much locked in with a young stud QB (who signed a 10 year contract), a group of young receivers, the best TE in the NFL, and a fellow Tiger playing the Thumper role in the backfield with him. Big Red is running the best offense in the NFL for his skillset - Arians is, uh, what does he do well again?

Clyde is set, Buga may have ONE good year, if he's lucky. Then what?

Just my opinion, yall....

Williams led the Chiefs in rushing last season with 498 yards, but Edwards-Helaire reached about one-quarter of that total in his first NFL game.

I was surprised he didn't get more receptions. With his skills and that offense, he'll have a huge year. The yards from scrimmage could even be better on a per game average than he had last night.

Okay, fair statement, but it's also fair to say that he's been a shell of the player he was in the first half of his career with the Pats. He's been an injury risk for so long that any team banking on him being THE guy are playing pool with their own cajones.

I'm not saying he isn't good. He is, or at least he HAS been (pun intended) in the past. Personally, I don't think he survives the full season until some other part of his body decides to give out. He's the JJ Watt of Tight Ends.

Other than that, my original thoughts stand - One and Done for both Brady and Gronk. Even if both make it to the end of the season in the upright standing position, I'm betting Brady retires - which probably means Gronk goes with him.

So, best of luck to Buga (not really, I hate the Bucs almost as much as I hate the Donkeys, Raiderettes and Puketriots). If he has a good year, he should probably enjoy it because it's likely to be the only one he has there....

...Unless Arians shows some guts and adequately plans for the departure of the has-been supercouple.

Clyde, on the other hand, has no such worries. He's in the perfect system for the skills he brings, is surrounded by young stud players who aren't going anywhere for years, and has a future HOF coach who will probably die on the sidelines of Arrowhead before he retires.

It's game one in a really wonky year. No pre-season games for tune-ups, and Mahomes already has great rapport with Hill, Kelcey and Watkins. Even though Big Red is the reincarnation of Don Coryell with his love of passing, the truth is they didn't NEED to pass to the backs last night to beat the Texans.

And the Chiefs are known as a team that loves to throw to their backs - see Charles, Jamaal and Hunt, Kareem for reference. Rest assured, Clyde's time for catching balls is coming. And when it does, Clyde is going to straight-up SMOKE some dudes who were too busy watching all the other Chiefs receivers running their routes.

I have to say that probably one of favorite moments of 2019 was CEH after the Bama game and the emotion between him and his coaches and father. That's sport, competition and perseverance in it's purest form.

burrow handing him the game ball after the final snap too.
