Sounds right. Not upset with it.

We’ll have about 60 players available for this game and will not care about it. Illinois will be much more motivated to be there.

The SEC Championship Game against Tennessee that year, and the Sugar Bowl that year.

2 of the best games I’ve ever attended. Damn good times as an LSU fan

So is Frank still on our staff? I’m guessing Baker will head coach the game if he’s not?

Boring matchup but beggars can’t be choosers.

I do think yes, let’s hand the reins to Jujuan Johnson and see what he can do. Nothing to lose. He might be the next Jayden.

Rohan Davey threw for over 400 yds and 3 TDs in that Sugar Bowl. It was fun to watch.

outdoor stadium in Nashville during winter does not sound ideal.

Remember when Saban won the first Sugar Bowl in his LSU tenure? Against Illinois. Who were favored. Ill take it.

Anybody remember the chaos of getting sugar bowl student tickets back then? My friends and i camped out in the athletic dept parking lot for 3 days trying to be first in line. It was first come first serve back then. Then the night before tickets went on sale the LSUPD intervened and it turned into a shite show. They made 100’s of students get behind a rope about 50+ yards from the ticket booth and “slowly walk” to form a line. It went terrible. Luckly we ended up like 3rd in line. Good times

Based on recent publications, the bowls that are being most frequently mentioned for LSU this week are:
• Music City Bowl many pundits list this as the top destination.
• Texas Bowl an alternate landing spot if Music City doesn’t work out.
• less likely : Liberty Bowl ,Duke’s Mayo Bowl

I’ll be there once it’s made official. Already have a room booked. Nashville is close and I had a conflict Vandy weekend, so I’ll take it, even if it’s just to watch the backup and young guys get to carry this one.

LSU defense could maybe score 14.
