The Miles legacy has left LSU in the middle of the pack of the SEC West. Say what you want about the prediction, that's where LSU has been landing the past few years.

schlabach has hated lsu since the 03 game. he was the uga beat writer for the Atlanta journal. he pissed and moaned about uga being the better team all season. that was put to rest in the ga dome 34-13. he also thinks saban invented the game.

Oh please, y'all think everybody hates LSU for some stupid reason

I don't have an issue with it.

Look, we have lots of talent but have not lived up to expectations over the last 4-5 years. We haven't had a competent passing game since Mett left, and I don't blame people for taking a "wait and see" approach with us. Being ranked 12th seems generous. Now, I do believe we can make some noise and build momentum but we need to prove it on the field.

After Saturday when Guice goes for 220 yds, the other rb's run for 200 yds combined, and Etling throws for 240 yds..he will look foolish.

Just to be clear, you think we put up 660 yards of offense?

Not saying that will happen, but they put up 622 yards against an SEC "defense" last season.

A&M will "flip the script." Apparently he has never seen an A&M football team play. They'll start hot and shite the bed once the season heats up... just like every year.

Its like the talking heads dust off a binder every year around this time and 'rinse and repeat' the ole "Flip the Script" narrative for A&M, while they continue to have Charmin-like soft defenses and an offense that only works vs crappy teams.

My condolences to Mr. and Mrs. Schlabach. It's a shame none of their children lived!

Worse than LSU 4th was aTm 3rd!
Tamu will flip alright 4-8!

Wrong. LSU returned 11 before Maea Teuhema decided to leave school. Which means we return 10, just as I said. Our returning qb threw 11 td's. Bama's returning qb threw 23 td's. Our qb ran for 46 yards and 1 td. Bama's qb ran for 954 yards and 13 td's. Slight difference

Who cares what he thinks. Despite losing a lot of players on defense, they are going to be a very salty bunch with Devin White in the middle. Delpit may be too good to sit. Chaisson and co. will do fine until Key returns and the DL is projected to be even better. In Aranda's second season I expect them to be more aggressive with more blitzes and takeaways. Last season the one dynamic missing was takeaways. Now that the team has had a full season to get comfortable with the system that should change.

Offensively OL depth and WR inexperience are the issues, but a Canada should add enough to the scheme to mitigate any weaknesses.

I'm not claiming this team is going to win the SEC, but there is a lot to be optimistic about this season. Anyway, bitching about the season or games before they are played seems extremely premature.

Its just weird he has Derrius picked as SEC Offensive Player of the year, yet sees us as 4th in the west when our defense will be solid under Aranda in his second year and our Oline would have to be Solid as well for Derrius to put up those numbers. Just makes it seem like hes talking out of his arse.
