Mina Kimes is way better

It's really easy for everyone else to have these ideas about what LK should be doing when they don't have the offer in front of them. They call that pocket watching.

No more team it’s I , as in N “I “L…….

It is possible to say, ‘You know what, thank you so much for your interest, LSU and Florida. I’m going to focus on my team, and then we can have these conversations when I’m done. And, if you can’t wait for me to do that, then go ahead and move on, but that’s what I need to do is focus on this’.
Except he argued for staying coaching for the rest of the season. It was ole miss who slammed that door shut.

Didn’t Sumrall do the exact same thing?

U til ncaa fixes transfer portal and early and normal enrollment times, or decides academic and sports schedules in line it will ALWAYS be like this. I think only way this gets fixed is by admitting these are not college athletes and maybe they go to school only after competing college athletics

Not so surprising remarks from LSU folks, but they aren't on the other side of the fence. Amiright?
Knowing how most LSU fans post on here, if this script were flipped, it would be a nuclear-level meltdown.
And nobody really disputes that it's poor timing, especially for the Ole Miss team.
It's the national media's outrage that is so hypocritical and annoying.
Kentucky just hired Oregon's OC to be head coach. It's being reported that he will finish out his duties as OC in the playoffs this year.
Penn State is targeting the BYU coach. BYU is playing in the Big 12 championship with a playoff berth on the line.
Florida hired Sumrall from Tulane, who is playing for a playoff berth. BTW, Tulane will allow him to coach the team the rest of the way this year.
Auburn and Arkansas just hired the coaches from USF and Memphis, 2 AAC teams (along with Tulane) that are bowl-bound, and had been in the playoff discussion this year.
LSU hired Kiffin away from Ole Miss. They outbid Florida in the process, or else he likely would have gone there instead.
Is LSU NOT supposed to pursue the best coach it can?
Is the issue about poaching a coach in-conference? Well, Auburn took Tuberville from Ole Miss. Arkansas took Nutt from Ole Miss. Florida took Mullen from Miss State. Go back further, you will find more.
Nobody's crying about ANY of these coaching hires in the media, other than LSU taking Kiffin.

Heather dinich reads off a teleprompter. You can tell she is speaking from the mind

Total BS. Such a hypocrite, too. There’s not a broadcaster alive who would not make the jump to a bigger market the instant they got an offer. Old loyalties be damned.
But more importantly… no one ever sees it from LSU’s point of view. Just what the frick are we supposed to do? We are on a timeline, too. And we are going to push to get what we want. Because surprise… surprise… Ole Miss and their priorities DO NOT MATTER to us. I missed the part where we were only supposed to interview people who whose seasons were 100% complete and their employers were okay with it.

LSU didn't give him the ultimatum, Ole Miss did. Tell their AD he fricked it up, not Lane.

And, how many players leave their coaches and quit on their team through the portal??? Waiting for an answer.

Screw ESPN Insider!

Heather Dinich is unqualified to comment on football.

Honestly, for all the national media members complaining about Kiffin to LSU, I'd like to see them respond when asked "is LSU allowed to compete in football?"
We targeted a guy that, per his own words, had 2 other schools pursuing him. 2; in his press conference he said he had to consider four places, and LSU's NIL deal was the best of them. The NIL remark eliminates an NFL team from that list. We know Ole Miss (where he was at), LSU where he landed, and Florida make 3 of the 4, we aren't sure who is the last one. Penn State apparently?
Is LSU NOT allowed to pursue a coach that both Florida and Penn State wanted? Are we supposed to sit back until January, and pick someone from the leftover pile?

Thats not the schedule of College Football so she needs to either get educated or shut the frick up.

It's a shame how easy it is to be a frickin dick, even when you know the situation is completely fricked up.
There's not many jobs someone would leave LSU for. OM can't say the same and that's why they mad. OM is the one who got used (even though theY benefitted from it) and LK is the hoe?
