You know that "commentator" is Rex Ryan
seriously? I tuned in kinda late to the game. Never noticed. Also oblivious to the fact that he was designated to be an assistant commentator..

Y'all forget cam was a top 10-15 OC for like 20 years.

Les miles dumbed it down, that's the only answer. Plus he needed a very good QB to run air Coryell

He dumbed it down over his career. He did it to himself. He didnt get let go midseason for no reason.... At both Baltimore and LSU....

That’s in the secret playbook Les Miles was saving for the right moment.

Yeah, that’s what he told Alleva when he got fired, “I was just ready to pull out the secret playbook, i promise, you will enjoy it, the team will enjoy, espn will enjoy it, i will enjoy it”

Against Bama in 2012 to Spencer Ware. Went for a lot of yards. Remember it well.

With that said, when the hell did he ever spread the field and run that route to his RB? LEONARD FOURNETTE.

Camera had a want to run that play but there was never a situation in the game that would allow him to run that play the way it was written up and designed for the offense to run the play against a quality opponent.

It was a Les Miles offense. Didn't matter who the OC was.

Eh, it would be disingenuous to suggest Mett didn't develop from 2012 to 2013. He became much more efficient.

Because it is not very inventive.

"everybody go deep, you cut across the middle, short". It's like something you would draw up in the sand.

That being said, if your RB can win the matchup (likely with a LB) than it can be effective for a good gain.

True. It took development by Landry and OBJ for Mett to take the next step however. Not that takes away from Cam or Mett, just a fact.

Russell and Flynn were developed under Jimbo
Jimbo under Miles. You must think all other LSU QBs were developed by Miles, smdh.
There's not one mention of Miles ever being a QB coach on his resume.

Mett in UGA and JUCO
He wasn't polished enough to replace Lee and JJ.
Mett improved greatly between his arrival at LSU to 2013 season.

"Mett in UGA and JUCO"

The diffence in Mett's play between 2012 and 2013 was pretty noticeable. As had been the difference in our QB play between 2010 and 2011. imo

Mettenburger was not developed by Miles or Cameron. When came out of JUCO he was one of if not the top Qb's at that time. So you think he was developed by Miles and Cameron?
