I'm just as worried that basketball gets rolled in with the football stuff. TBH, I think that the IARP may not do anything. Hope we know something within 2 months from the end of July as the article suggests.

Again, for the 1800th time, the NCAA is not a court of law, they don’t need documented bank statements showing payments or something. Credible witnesses would probably do it.

FFS, what do they have on LSU Football other than contact in dead period (which they have already been self-reported and had bowl ban) and he said-she said with O and Guice?

If anything comes from this and I'm LSU, especially given the trajectory of things, I dare the NCAA to try and enforce the penalty.

According to Pirate King, the only person NOT responsible for the football team is Ed Orgeron.

Unless of course, it's something good. Then it's 100% Ed Orgeron.

But when you call him a idiot he runs to the help board and says he's being bullied.

This sounds so Bobby Jindal-ish... throw out a bunch of numbers sounding all great, then don't do shite.

If LSU was going to get penalized, I cannot understand how 6+ new football coaches would leave their jobs to join LSU. Then, add in basketball staff additions/recruits. No basketball coaches left to distance themselves either.

Hard to believe that these new guys didnt ask these questions or do their research.

If it threatens football we should agree to permanently close our basketball program if it would remove that threat.

The NCAA is on thin ground already with the SEC expansion and all the talk about not needing the NCAA going forward. The Supreme Court ruling on NIL has been a game changer for how neutered the NCAA has become. I would be shocked if they continue to push an investigation where they single out certain schools and refuse to punish schools like Duke and others.

If you praying every day for 3 years for Will Wade to get punished doesn’t work. I don’t know what will.
