Blacks make up 13% of the population and 40% of police shootings. Blacks are therefore over represented and this is evidence that the police force, and by extension the judicial branch of our government (because they're letting these cops off for executing young black men), is racist. That's why BLM exists, because they think that society is so racist that it needs to be told that black lives have value. That's how bad they think it is. You don't think that's not inflammatory and somehow comparable to your 4th grade story? Piss off. Men make up 50% of the population and 95% of police shootings. No one cares because they understand that men commit the most violent crime and are most likely to put themselves in a situation where a police officer needs to use lethal force to save life or limb. There are no "MALE LIVES MATTER!" groups. Do you see the contradiciton? Or do I need to lay it out further for you? There's no "sickness", at least not within our police force or our judicial system. BLM and Colin Kaepernick are just average citizens using WebMD to diagnose a sickness, ignorant and wrong. The actual cause is excessive crime in black communities.
Or perhaps the black community is just as easily manipulated by the media and the rhetoric as whites and both sides are ignorant to the other side’s point of view?

He's a smart guy and good football player, but he's an unpatriotic peace of crap. Anybody who does that is.

Sure, just not on this issue.

Actually a lot of those sorts of folk agree with BLM, they also want black only spaces for black people...
Who would have thought in 2017 black groups would be pushing for segregation, err, I mean black safe spaces...

Everyone here who claim to boycott the NFL and its kneelers should just go ahead and boycott our current tigers cause guess which side of the fence they stand and given the opportunity they would also kneel. Oh yea, and stop recruiting these unpatriotic guys lets just go get the guys that love our country and our flag who take no part in these social wars. lets see how good a team we field

Do you really think that cops go out and look for black people to kill? That's what the protest started as
Well, that's just plain false.
If you're going to hate someone for performing an innocent and peaceful protest within their rights as a citizen, maybe you should understand the reason for the protest first (or not create a strawman argument to validate your position against his protest)

It's not the fact that they're protesting, it's how they're choosing to protest and what theyre protesting.

Would you say its bigotry to ignore facts?
Maybe throw in the word fascist as well while you are busy name calling and have no clue the meaning behind your insults.

What people don't understand is that none of us would have shite if it wasn't for the people that put their lives on the line for us everyday. So screw his "right to protest".

Umm...pretty sure this country was founded on protesting.

Really? Antifa backs these protest. Now there is a model of respectful disagreement. But then take this political discussion to the right board anyway.
Posted on 11/14/17 at 10:36 am to MistaMike9
So screw his constitutionally protected rights? Nah, while I disagree with what he's protesting he 100% has the right to protest.

Huh? Antifa is fairly inline with BLM. And Antifa isn't a model of respectful disagreement when Berkley had to spend 600,000 dollars on security so a 5 foot conservative Jew could give a speech.

I am confused, people put their lines on the line for our rights but then you want to diminish one of the rights the military fights for?

You were born confused.
Ck was a millionaire playing a kid's game and decided to use his platform...sports...to try and right a social injustice.
There are other ways to bring attention to the problem. He can protest all he wants through the proper channels and places.
A football game is not the appropriate place/time IMO.

What are the "proper channels and places"? I would love to know.
