There is no other reason as to why this team is struggling other than the coaching staff. This team was supposed to be one of Paul’s deepest and best teams and yet they suck. Yes I know there are injuries but this team was supposed to be good enough to be able to overcome the injuries

Not competitive. Embarrassing to pay a coach that kind of money for that product.

It seems like the injury excuse is used every season.

Sorry but I believe Hess Watson and Duplantis needed to go pro so the incoming players could play more. Duplantis is the only one I think has a shot at the league

It’s not the players fault Mainieri recruited them. 63-41 record last 2 seasons . 60.5 %

Duplantis is probably the least valuable prospect at the next level among those three. And if you wanna talk about players struggling, Duplantis towards the top of the list. Watson is batting .357 with a .952 OPS. He's been the most consistent hitter on the team all year.

Vietmeier came into the game with a 3.13 era
He had given up 1 HR before tonight

not to mention HR #1 was a mid 90s fastball at dude's eyes up and in and the second was a breaking ball low and outside the dude reached down and golfed out. Just a couple HRs you tip your hat to the batters. Neither were bad pitches. And for you downvoters, this isn't an excuse but merely an observation. We still need to play better.

He doesn’t have a natural position at the next level. His arm is too weak for the next level in the outfield.
