Encouraged by backup QB?

This is by no means a call for LClark to play over Sam. But I am encouraged by the poise and performance of our Elon transfer.
I had heard a lot of praise from different sources about him during the summer.
Nice to have someone who doesn’t send us into panic if Sam has to come out for a bit.

I think we'll definitely see him if we're ever in a long hail Mary situation. He's got a cannon

All of the qbs can run the offense real game. it's flipping awesome.

I think he’s capable if something should happen

I think Clark was a good addition , far better than I originally thought as I’d never seen him play at Elon and didn’t know what he could do . He looked good in limited action running our offense . If Leavitt doesn’t learn to slide at the end of runs to avoid hits we will see a lot of the backup QB

Most efficient backup since Flynn in 06, in my opinion. His speed is righteous. He throws a decent ball. I’m not advocating that he starts at all, but ala Hodson/Guidry, I wouldn’t be opposed to him leading a drive in the 2nd and 4th quarters. Let Sam see some game. And I’d be okay if he didn’t do that at all and Leavitt never comes out. But I like him. For a second stringer, he’s solid.

It was really cool to see him in the game. He did great. So nice to feel like you have a quality backup.
