“Can't trust him at this point.“

I think you’re correct.

Emery is a much more talented football player than Cain (overall & RB skills).

Emery has elite skills as a RB, running & receiving, but has been a fumbling machine since his HS days & there’s absolutely ZERO reason to believe he’s going to clean that up at this point in his career.

With that said I would rather not see Emery get a carry until the games securely (pun intended) tucked away & LSUs up by 40pts!!

Emery needs to be fed swing routes and screens. Get that man in the open field. Tell him to stop fighting for extra yardage and go down.

That’s Cliff Branch

Yep. I could not remember who that was, but I knew Lester was 37.

Did you ever even play the damn game? You don’t throw the kid away for a couple of mistakes!

A couple of mistakes? This kid has had chance after chance after chance, and his only consistency is fumbling! He should not see the field unless we are out of running backs.

Yes there is. Cain can hold onto the ball, Emery can’t. Has Emery ever had 30 carries in a row without a fumble? I doubt it.

The rain is over for CS so that won’t be an issue tonight.

I get it. He has fumblitis but I'm hoping coaches have worked on his technique. He's way too valuable to be left on the bench.

I didnt realize until I watched the replay that his first fumble was in pouring down rain and Daniels fumbled the snap but controlled it enough to hand it off. That said you have to look at nobody else was fumbling...

I also agree that he has to work it out on the field because we are going to need him down the stretch.

Okay, you insist on playing him. Fine. Let him do pass protection for Jayden. But whatever you do, DO NOT let him handle that football. On an important game like this, with the post-season play on the line, you cannot afford a fumble. A fumble that lets the Aggies back in the game. When it comes to an Aggie-LSU football game, you throw the stats out the window.

The problem with John Emery? He's a powerful runner, but he's a fumble machine.

Hope they had him carry around the football all week. To the cafeteria to classes to the bathroom and while sleeping. That is the old style way of curing fumbleitis. Seem to work in the old days but seems to have been forgotten about by modern-day coaches.
