Maybe so, but I didn't just make it up. In fact, the info is coming from this Geaux247 article. It basically says Davis, not Emery, is the back that will get early PT.
Is Sonny Shipp the new Head Football Coach at LSU?
This is just his opinion and right now it doesn't mean squat.

Reports from summer workouts say he's 5th on the depth chart.
I'm wondering what criteria they base their depth chart on. If it's strength, then I could see Emery being the weakest of the group. But once they get the ball in their hands I think he climbs that chart pretty quick. It's going to be difficult to take carries from Clyde. He has gotten faster, quicker and stronger over the past 2 years. He won't be easy to tackle in the open field. I'm going with under for Emery. Just depends on what the depth chart is when the season starts.

He will have around 600-700 total combined yards. Not a lot but not terrible either. Clyde and Fournette will play more than people think.

Under ... I'll bet Tyrion Davis- Price has more attempts and yardage

I see a transfer in Curry’s future.

If Emery doesn’t get serious PT he will enter the transfer portal ASAP.

Can he pass block? If not he won't play much.

We are going to have to use his sevices a lot if we are going to have a chance to win a SECC. Then playoffs. This guy is Just a step above everyone else in the backfield. 750+ yards plus passes out of the backfield. Has to be in the top 3 running the ball.

Clyde
Fournet
Emery
Best 3 period........ Curry transfers.
BEST 22 PLAYERS NEED TO BE ON THE FIELD NO MATTER WHAT WEATHER ITS FROM FRESHMAN TO SENIORS.

Flynn's humiliation of #6Miami in 2005.

1200 yards. He is going to have a freshman impact similar to Dalton Hilliard

If CEH is our primary meaning 70% of touches ball carrier. We will not be 11 and 1.

Over for sure. He gets 150 against a scrub team with a few long runs and he’s well on his way. Curry & Lanard are not good enough to hold him back. His completion is CEH and Davis-Price
