I think he has a great season and breaks 750.

What’s your over/under on total LSU rushing yards for the season?

Under. Too many backs. Will share carries. Emery breaks out toward the end of the season and is the unquestioned starter in 2020.

He could be anywhere from 1-4 on the depth chart. We just don’t know yet.

I’m gonna say under for now, but he’ll be close.

Reports from summer workouts say he's 5th on the depth chart.

Edwards-Helaire enters the season as the starter. Curry had a great spring and holds the inside track for RB2. Fournette will get snaps because he can catch the ball out of the backfield. Davis has turned some heads in summer workouts. That means Emery is entering fall practice as our #5 RB.

I think he ends up being the starter by the end of the season. But his carries will be pretty limited early on.

Over. I think he shows out and ends up around 750-800 yards by the end of the season

Summer workouts? I’m going to call BS.

Where you enter fall practice means nothing. It’s where you leave fall practice. And seeing how his name isn’t kelvin Joseph I think he’ll make some strides

Over.

He’s not only the most talented RB we have, he’s also the most complete RB we have as well. Kid can do it all. He’s also a great fit for the type of offense we want to be.

That’s not to say the other RBs won’t see snaps or whatever because they will. But it’s only a matter of time before Emery emerges as the RB1. He’s also going to greatly benefit from that Week 5 bye week (Sept 28).

Maybe so, but I didn't just make it up. In fact, the info is coming from this Geaux247 article. It basically says Davis, not Emery, is the back that will get early PT.

True. But there are other guys out there competing, too. Davis is supposedly pretty impressive so far.

I've stated that I think Emery wins the starting job by the end of 2019. But I don't think he gets that many carries early in the year, which means he'll probably finish with under 500 yards.

Workouts in shorts don’t mean anything. Once they put the pads on we will see

Workout warriors and camp heroes mean nothing. For all we know CEH will probably lead the team in yards and carries due to gametime experience. Curry as well. However Emery or Price can breakout and run away with it once acclimated with game speed. It’s all speculation at this point, but the talent is certainly there and more promising than last year.

Over. Throw in, imo, a few hundred receiving yards (200-300) as well. At least I really hope so.

Just going by the latest info from Sonny Shipp, who is a reputable source on LSU football that a lot of people trust.
