hiding behind trees to kill deer or in a duck blind to hunt ducks....hmmmm, hardly compares to trench warfare in WW1 does it?

Who compared it to trench warfare?

hunting just for fun in a one-sided exercises...not very tough or brave in my book.

People enjoy doing it and eat the meat. If you don't, then stop being a bleeding vagina and move along.

Those chickens & cows you eat are poor defenseless animals as well but I bet you eat the shite out of em.

Is it an “exercise in ego” for you to hit KFC on the way home?

6. And counting at least one behind the camera that would be 30. That said, that camp pic has more green heads than I have seen in 3 years

None of them are sitting. No time to sit in the wild.

You wrote a paragraph on why hunting is important and then say it is ego

I gave exceptions to why it could be useful...not the norm IMO. I did leave out one more exception...food survival. But I think the last wagon train on the Oregon Trail left 150 years ago or whatever so that isn't relevant much. But we all know that "for sport" is the main reason for hunting these days. That is what I think is wrong.

You’ve obviously never had a group of 30 scaup land in your decoys and smile at you. And it shows

Some of these, yes, but once again there is a difference between killing animals for sport and killing them to feed people. I am not a vegetarian although I don't eat much beef...not for conscience reasons but because I don't think beef is healthy compared to chicken or fish for example.

Hey guy, I would have quit posting on this very off topic thread but you rednecks keep the subject alive. So if you want the topic to die, you can move along right?

So you think it’s wrong to eat your harvest or give it away to your friends and neighbors for them to eat?

Or get this, we donate hundreds of pounds of processed game meat to the local food banks every year.

We also have wild game dinners to raise money for the Shriners Hospital every year.

I’m sure your bleeding heart can appreciate that

Once again, the same answer. There is a difference between shooting for sport and shooting for food. BTW, I don't have horns or antlers mounted above the fireplace either. I have explained it very clearly on the difference but either you aren't seeing the messages or don't want to understand the difference.
