People saying he sucked as a true freshman. That kid would have been a fantastic three year player. It’s a loss. Good for Reid. Great landing spot!

He’ll play 10-15 min a game and pick up 3 dumb fouls

Idiots on this board were saying he wasn’t going to find anywhere to go

He has a ton of upside. It also isn't fair to just say it was poor "coaching". He was a Freshman. Check that dude in a couple of years.

He will be really good in a few years. He got way too much playing time and our coaching staff didn’t develop him at all.

Agreed. No need to bash the kid bc the staff failed to develop him at all.

Wade was a good recruiter but McMahon is every bit as good on that front and worlds better at player development.

Want to bet that he improves at Gonzaga?

No, it is inevitable he is going to improve. I was responding to the guy who said he will be a lottery pick, which there is a 0% chance of that happening.

Good for him. His skills aren’t there for his size.

Naz Reid is better in the NBA than he was with Will Wade.

What does Timme have to do with Efton Reid ? They don't play the same position.

They don’t play the same position but I don’t see how they coexist with each other. Neither are floor spacers and play below the rim. They could get killed defensively

Reid’s problem was he was soft physically. Maybe gonzaga has a better strength program & mark few can fix that.

Should have been racking up and 1’s with his offensive skill.

Also needs to work on his footwork on defense. He would slap and reach because his lateral quickness and positioning was bad. Good for 2 or 3 dumb fouls within the first ten minutes

Reid will only get better. He has the tools and the folks so far down on him just don't get basketball. Not every 7 footer that comes in looks great from day one, he was a late bloomer in high school as well. Couldn't even make his 8th grade team back then.

People just saw 5 stars next to his name and assumed he would dominate day one.

If he does, we will know without question that it was due to coaching

Yeah. A whole season of SEC basketball definitely wouldn't have helped him in any way. Just the new coach.
