Prove me wrong?

Hires nothing but friends and people he as worked with. The only time he went outside the box and hired Canada he couldn't be a adult and work with the man despite their differences. The is nothing more than the same old shite. In life you never stand pat, if you are not improving you are regressing and this program is regressing.

He's a less likeable Les Miles.

When Les had a good QB, he wasn't nearly this bad.

No. See the thread on the score board.

Ed at his best is about the same as Miles at his worst.

Both are players coaches, neither have a clue about X's and O's. I really believe that O didn't want to bring in a younger dynamic OC because he would be useless already havin Aranda. Since Aranda doesn't seem like becoming a head coach immediately O seems safe now.

Don’t disrespect Les Miles. They aren’t in the same stratosphere.

Les won the SEC twice, played for 3 SEC and 2 National Championships, winning 2 and 1, respectively. Ed O will never sniff that kind of success.

That was easy.

Preseason predictions 6-6, 5-7 maybe 7-5 if we are lucky. We will either be 9-3 or 10-2. So all these “ predictors” would rather an impressive loss to a “do what have to do” win. Yes we lost but we looked damn good doing it. LOL

Took me a while to come to that conclusion, but after last week and last night, I believe it now. So frustrating !!!

They are both liars and except for a few games here & there they've both made LSU football not real fun to watch due to their shite-show offenses.

Except Miles had people that would come to work for him.

Raymond and Aranda are the holdouts. Think if they were gone.

Miles last two Arkansas games a 17-0, loss and a 31-14 loss. Blowout losses. 14 points in 2 games.

O may or may not be better than Les. I don't think anyone on this board would have opted to make the change from Les to O.

But people acting like Miles was this acclaimed coach without any coaching issues have clearly let time soften their stance on him. The nostalgia effect has kicked in big time.

Miles's time was up at LSU. He needed to 100% go. We weren't going to climb back into National relevance with him. For now, we have O, who has by most measures outperformed expectations.

Let's revisit Miles' last few years pre-season and final rankings since 2011 shall we?

2012: 3rd, finished 14th.
2013: 12th, finished 14th.
2014: 13th, finished 23rd.
2015: 14th, finished 16th.
2016: 5th, unranked at Miles's firing, finished 13th with CEO.

So in Miles' last four full years, LSU finished worse than it started, and in 4 games in 2016 under Miles we went from 5th in the country to unranked.

Orgeron may or may not be the answer, but to this point unless we collapse this year (another Miles trademark towards the end) CEO will do something LSU hasn't done in 7 years: finish the season ranked higher than it started.
