Saturday's game is a must win for LSU in the recruiting picture. Everything else is secondary. This year is a loss, but they have to build the future. A win at Bama will help with guys on the fence like Fornette.

And I'll say you're both wrong.
LSU can lose this game, still win 10 regular season games (which would be above the vegas total) and be just fine.
A&M is the game where the pressure really lies for numerous reasons.
Just be competitive against Bama and they don't lose any ground.

So LSU has to beat Bama and the Refs to have a good recruiting class. Who else in the country has to be held to such a high standard.

1. We can still get to a BCS bowl is a hell of a goal to achieve.
2. Games like this mean nothing in regards to recruiting other than media perception.

Be competitive? What? This isn't Vandy. We expect a W. A loss here will hurt, but how much it will hurt won't be known until Feb.
