His draft grade depends on how he does at a combine. Which combine, no idea? Probably pro day at LSU. He is a mystery. All that aside, don't see him going before round 5.

if a degree is not in his future, he might as well come out. He should play in the bowl game IMO

I think he wants to make some kind of money before his knees give out for good.

How could you shite on anyone for that?

Coming from that perspective if makes sense

If his knee issues are that bad he may have not been able to improve his stock

I think this is right. His knees only have so many games left in them and he hopes to get paid for those few games he has left.
I wish he would play the bowl.
Don't blame him for goinh to the NFL and wish him well.

His knees are in bad shape, can’t fault him for making this decision.

$129,000 a year straight out of college, without a degree is pretty good.

Yeah I agreed with Greedy not playing... Alexander can only help himself sans injury...

He was never at LSU to get a degree. He can and should go get the money while he can

If college is to prepare young people for careers, then college sports is secondary to career decisions. You always have to look at it this way.

At this point...he's a 5th-7th rounder at best. I think some of these kids declare just for the simple fact that they know teams/scouts also draft based on potential. If they really like the measureables/intangibles of a player, then that alone will make them pick someone that hasn't really displayed much on the field in college. Many coaches believe that with proper coaching the player could eventually excel in the NFL.

but with his knees I don’t see him being taken before the 6th unless it’s on a team with championship aspirations that just needs a short term stop gap at dt

this... and 6th round is generous... no way he gets drafted... UDFR maybe 100k signing.... his degree would have been worth more... stupid move... no he gets no love or help in graduating because he will be a normal student and not a football player...
