Blind loyalty can be a bad thing, you know. Far better to live life with eyes wide open. Doesn't mean you love your team any less - just that you're looking at things rationally.

If we beat AU I will still be unsure of this team. I am not sold on AU

But it will mean we are a solid team

so true GT! This coach sucked. that coach sucked. stats and facts laid out to debunk claims or GOD forbid educating oneself about football to understand what they are watching but noooooooooooo keep these myths going! that is what these accounts do.

You've gone and done it now, man... You've clearly not spent enough time over on the OT or PoliBoard to know how unpopular this opinion is on this forum. I mean, you're right obviously...but...

beating AU would be yuuuugee win and might cause me to rethink my opinion on O.

but i don't see it at all. when was the last time LSU beat an actually good Auburn team in JH?

this will be the same old story. LSU leans too heavily on the defense and they wear out in the 2nd half.

LSU desperately needs to bring in a real OC/offensive minded hc who knows what he's doing.

Well...we definitely disagree largely about the Miles Era, but I'm with you 100% in regards to Orgeron, and considering that's our present and will impact our future it's the most important thing to come together about.

Other than clicks, I see no reason at all why there is not any effort put forth to police what are obviously fake and alter accounts here.

And again...this is NOT an issue of not wanting disagreement! I'm confident enough in my arguments that I'm happy to debate with anyone about them. and I'd like to think that I'm honest enough that if someone [presents an argument that is so compelling it will change my mind. But these accounts are the antithesis of that, and it's starting to take it's toll of the validity of conversation here.

This is a lack of objectivity. Cheering for the Tigers and hoping they win is not antithetical to thinking they will lose based on all objective data. But the beauty of college football is the emotion and frequency of teams playing better or worse than expected.

I think everyone thinks LSU has a chance, but they've lost their last 3 on the road at Auburn IIRC, Auburn is ranked higher, and Vegas is predicting a 9-10.5 win by Auburn. All objective signs point to LSU losing, but look at last year.

IF LSU gets one or two big plays the Tigers will have a chance to win. IF they can get those big plays and sustain 2-3 drives and play lights out defense, LSU can win going away.

I still think there are questions about Auburns offense against teams that play sound defense... But Auburns defense is VERY good. It'll be a battle.

You dont get to tell someone how to be a fan. We all support the tigers and want to win. Being realistic and not expecting LSU to win doesnt make that person a bad fan.

Picking LSU to win every game is being a homer, not a better fan.

You be the fan you are, let other fans who think and act differently than you be the fans they are.

This post is much worse than the OP.

We won 2 NCs in 4 years and played 3 in 8 years. Not a dynasty but that is ELITE.

I expect LSU to be elite because they've proven they can be. If that's entitled then so be it.

Much rather that than lower expectations to make myself content.

LSU is not David to Auburn's Goliath.

Goody, goody, gum drops. Keep your head in the sand.

Nothing worse than reading LSU fans saying things like...." we have no chance"...blah blah blah

We have a chance, but fans are frustrated that absolutely NOTHING has changed on the offensive side of the ball. I hope Steve E. Wonder has a secret playbook somewhere in his office.

Blindly supporting Miles is why his winning percentage was high?

Now that's some next level stupidity.
