In the last two games, LSU has scored 2 runs and only 8 hits against Nicholls State and Eastern Kentucky. Let that sink in for a second.

There’s way too much money being spent on LSU baseball to lose 2-0 on a Friday night to EKU. Literally no excuse.

Who’s going to buy those $100 folding chair seats when we’re playing like this?

Sometimes you have to take short-term pain for long-term gain. I mean, are we just delaying the inevitable? We certainly were with less miles

There's way, WAY too much season left to start giving up already.

Maybe we should stop pretending that it’s the hitting coach.

Les just needs the right OC right?

Exactly. It’s been like this for years.

Who is giving up? I never started caring in the first place. I’m not exactly vested in whatever Mainieri has put together the past few years.

No doubt. I'm not giving up. I never give up. I love watching the games win or lose. But you know, I stuck with CPM all these years all the way up until halfway through last season. Near the end of last season I start to sour on him and seeing the team come out uninspired to start this season has me thinking that I wouldn't be too sad if he was shite canned. Seeing how the football program turned around after Les Miles makes it even easier.

Are you AT LEAST ready to admit that this team’s offense is worrisome?

I still remember when people were leaving the 2017 team for dead in March, and we know how that turned out. This is a bad start to the season, but there's a long way to go.

I wonder who CPM will throw under the bus after this one.

They gave up on that guy at birth. You can’t blame his attitude

I'm pretty sure he's giving up on Paul not LSU. In fact, he's giving up on Paul to save LSU

I was worried before the season started. New hitting coach and a lot of inexperienced players. The hope is that we get rolling by conference play. That said, what we saw tonight and Wednesday is completely unacceptable.

Even if we turn this around, there's no way to justify a start like this as part of the normal process. I'm usually more of a wait and see type person, but this is just flat out painful to watch.

There is a difference between giving up on the team, which I can assure nobody is, and giving up on a coach. Our coach has become complacent and needs to be dropped a peg or two. WE ARE LSU

Hoping the team loses is giving up on the team which is what I responded to. There's no way around giving up on the team if you're hoping that they lose.
