Charlie Hannagriff said it on his podcast a while back, and I think he is right. When you see guys transfer out who are either starters or who have already had significant playing time and are in line to continue to play, that means they are leaving for NIL reasons.

Yeah, I’m sure the fact that he was suspended for the bowl game has absolutely nothing to do with it, right? Or that him being told to move on has been predicted by a few people here and insiders on TOS?

This fricking fanbase.

Sometimes a complete reset (mostly complete) is just what the doctor ordered. It will just take a little patience.

Ok. You're such an expert then please inform me. Why is he leaving? Why would BK run this guy off.. I'll wait.

this new college football is horrible.

sorry, but it's ridiculous to see guys constantly leaving, especially starters. bring back the year sitting out or something. especially within conference.

What exactly did you want him to do? We had one of the better CB situations (if not the best) in CFB headed into the year with Sting, Ricks, McG, with what looked like an actual succession plan for '22 and beyond with some of the younger guys and commits. shite just went bad with the whole program and we're in reset mode.

I mean I don't know, but this is the thinnest we've been at CB in a long time.. He knew his best CB, Stingley, would be gone after this year, and his two CB's that were supposed to be starting next year are now transferring. He also recruited these guys, not just Ed O.

It's not surprising. It's obvious this kid has no loyalty, just look at his HS career:

2019: Played his senior season at Klein (Texas) Oak.
2018: Played his junior season at Cedar Hill (Texas) Trinity Christian.
2017: First-team all-district selection at WR and S as a sophomore at New Caney (Texas).

It’s not an accident He was suspended for the bowl game. It’s either grades, discipline/rules issues, or both. This has been talked about here since before the bowl game. I was hoping it was overblown, but it evidently wasn’t.

This is where you are wrong. I can’t say that I know anything regarding why he is leaving but this kid loved LSU. They kept him on the back burner his senior year and when a spot opened and he was given a commutable offer he was elated. While in the football field, he has been nothing but purple and gold. Even after Raymond left he states we are still DBU. He loved LSU so something else occurred.

Players will enter the portal to increase their NIL deals. The same Players will do this every year.
