Hoping for high pitch counts and lots of arms. Hopefully they keep this as an offensive game like the 1st inning is looking like.

Zag’s starter 35+ already
Oregon 1 out at 17 pitches.

Why is it so hard picking up ball in outfield
Even Oregon misplayed one

Gonzaga is kicking it around tonight. 8th best fielding percentage in the country and they played like it last night. The game after LSU they decide to suck

Not sure the zags have much pitching left in general

Pitching change top of the second at 45 pitches. 1 on. No outs.

To win this regional I think we need Zags to somehow beat Oregon!?
Then we only have to beat Oregon once (with Labas) then Zags with no pitching left twice (with Hellmers and anybody that’s left)

Fielding pop-ups all night will make any D-1 team look like golden gloves

Oregon can rake. If we get them game 2 tomorrow against the back of our pen, it’s going to be real ugly.

They really don't hit well. They're streaky even against bad pitching.

Look I’m not saying there’s a chance but so far I’m liking the way this game is headed. Looks like we could see lots of bullpen arms this game from both teams who really want to win this important game. This only favors LSU and I’ll take any edge we can get at this point.

They paired us other one of the trickiest pitchers in college. For all the criticism of our play on defense, Gonzaga’s pitcher beat us. But they are a beatable team without him.

7-3 Oregon pulling away.

We stand a better chance beating the Zags.

At least we can say we got to the finals of the regional.

If Oregon wins, LSU will likely face Hughes for Gonzaga. Gets a lot of strikeouts but prone to wildness. Very important to be patient against him. Will Manieri have them ready to lay off the first pitch?

Not something I've seen PM teams do regardless of the situation, but you never know.
