Besides, the Ducks prepped in the MO center that can replicate the conditions where they play. (Temp and humidity)

Ah negative ghost rider....there is no way you can simulate these brutal conditions we live in on the Gulf Coast. Especially the level of humidity.

That walk from the hotel to the bus and the bus to the stadium will be brutal!

Maybe we can figure out a way to lock them out of the stadium, thus forcing them to walk for a good amount of time out in the heat and humidity while wearing their suits.

Oh sorry. I thought it was a retractable roof and it was going to be open.

Don't worry, Huff, Thomas, and LMJ are all from Texas as well so I'm sure they know what to expect.

Damn the Rant is rough. When a slight misconception is read or written, you get totally picked on. I think I might go

Seriously though, its an interesting thought on the totally different climates both teams have been preparing in.

even if it were retractable or open like the old Texas Stadium I remember about this time in 2004 before the Oregon State game and how the Beaves were just going to wilt.

Seems like that was a pretty close game. But I may be wrong since Saban was coaching then and best I've heard from rivals and the media is we dominated every team he faced.

You mean the game that was delayed due to a tropical storm damn near flooding the stadium? I'm sure that had nothing to do with the temperature at game time.

Or maybe somebody just leave one of the doors open...by accident of course.

Takes 1-2 weeks to acclimate or lose your acclimation to heat. Doesn't matter where you're from.

Is this scientifically true? Because I always wondered why I feel like I'm walking through water and sweat my arse off everytime I return to Louisiana... and it's not like it's cool and dry here in D.C. But when I go back home, I can't seem to 'properly explain myself in that climate' anymore. Almost like my body forgot about it.

Game is indoors and I have to think Oregon will be one of the best conditoned teams we play all year. Running the offense they run their players have to be in exceptional shape.

Jerry rarely opens the roof for a game. Not sure if he has even done it once yet.

If you really want to hurt the Ducks, don't open the roof, water the lawn. You are all power up the middle per what I've read on this board so a wet field won't hurt you much. We will beat you to the corners, LSU world class DE sprinters or not, so if we can't make the cuts, it changes the game.
