He will graduate with a degree that will result in him making far more than an extra $125K over the course of his life. He will play an important role in meaningful football games and could be part of something special next year.

I wonder if we lead in the number of undrafted juniors.

false

His players are just better and he has 8 more lined up.

They have like 3 seniors on their entire starting 22

So if he makes zero money in the nfl.

He returns to school and it cost him $40k in student loans. I think that’s a risk he is willing to take. I think y’all value a interdisciplinary degree much more than people who actually hire. Like I said if it doesn’t workout and he has to pay for a year and a half of school what’s different than most kids? Obviously I know it’s paid for now but I see how he would think the risk is worth the award. What if he makes an nfl man roster and plays one season. That would be worth it to him.

What is he worried about, getting a splinter in his arse during the fiesta bowl?

Then he’s too immature to make that decision and should have better advisors.

I hope Orgeron is recruiting guys who actually want to be here now. I hope we are getting guys who don’t just see this school as an NFL springboard. I’m so tired of this 3 and done culture that has been created here. No way there is another school even close to us when it comes to guys leaving to get undrafted. It’s freaking ridiculous.

If I'm an NFL GM, my premise is a guy who sits out a bowl game is a guy who will dog it after he signs a big contract.

So a 2 years from now he'll be a bouncer at a titty bar. Where do these kids get their advice?

I didn't even think of that. Hell, he may even be able to play a few years in the arena league. What he wants to do with his life is his business. I wish him the best.

Maybe the Saints will draft him so you fans of them will stop the damn whining and crying!

His knees are making this decision for him.

Wants to try and make a roster before they’re completely useless. He’s in bad shape down there.

I really don’t care enough to be a spokesman for him. I’ll just say I see where he is coming from and leave it at that.

I'm a huge Saints fan and don't understand the outrage about it at all.

No way. With his documented bad knees? NFL doctors are gonna take one look at his knees and strongly advise the teams not to touch him for anything long term.
