folks.... just look at the fact that University leadership has not uttered a syllable about this. If a fraternity guy had done the same thing to a sorority girl - the press con would have happened all ready.. or if the university leadership has said something - I certainly missed it..

What?
have the AD and University president said anything about this?

I'm not sure I agree with your premise that they would hold a press conference if a run of the mill student had been arrested for domestic assault.

I don’t believe O knew and swept under rug.

If there is a text out there by Davis stating that he might kill her, he needs to be off the team right now and O needs to make it clear that LSU will have no part of physical or verbal abuse of a woman.

These two things kinda contradict themselves. It will take more than losing an overhyped WR from a team that was probably gonna lose a few WRs to attrition soon anyway to make the board "explode."
Agreed

Word.

I'm moving on. We're stacked there, so I think we'll be fine. Such a shame, so much potential.

No one in this environment is that dumb.

There is always someone "that dumb."

By clean house meant more of joe and Ed gone.

Neither are on solid footing and if Ed knew and just now sat him it could be spun to fire him. Especially the last week

Yea it’s a shame for the girl this happened but a over hyped kid that has never delivered isn’t a factor in moving the needle. It is good cannon fodder to use as more fire O stuff for lack of control but nothing more.

Even if it is another LSU athlete it’s not going to shake the rant or move the needle mainly because it’s not like most posters could name a female athlete at LSU

It’s not hard to piece together what you and choupic are hinting at, I just don’t think the rant is gonna care too much unless it somehow jeopardizes Orgeron’s future.

No we want his to blow back on alleva and O

I've seen some sick arse shite on this board before but this is unbelievable. You're actually hoping that this blows up and brings the football program down. Unfrickingreal.

It would definitely add another layer to the story especially if it was a well known female athlete.

Wait, I thought that the ex gf was an LSU student athlete and this was known all along

Or am I wrong on that?

Exactly, it’s not really big news that a player that hasn’t produced is being kicked off unless Ed knew and tried to sweep it and failed.

The bigger needle mover would be if the other person was a teammate

O and alleva are already on the hot seat two clowns covering up a domestic abuse situation isn’t some big scandal but for them to do it would probably lead to them being fired.

I don’t think we have a rash of woman beaters on our team, but if Ed knew and tried to hide it in this environment he would be gone.

I’m just saying I feel like the poster is over blowing this being a big story unless it was Ed covering

He already was pretty clear that it doesn't have an effect on anyone in the program outside of Davis, and that the accuser is a big part of teh "explosive" details.

Some have said a female athlete. The only real female athletes that are well known around here are softball players. I don't think I could name another one.

Softball player or gymnast is my guess. I could probably nail it in a handful of guesses, but I won't put names on here.
