This kind of encapsulates the problem with rewarding FSU in its current state.
Agreed. It's certainly a conundrum. Everyone knows that Bama/Texas is better than FSU presently, but I just don't know how you can explain yourself if you leave out an undefeated conference champ with several quality wins.
I'm glad I'm not having to make the decision, but I'll certainly enjoy watching the mayhem.

I’m not a gambler. Could someone please explain what the + and - means.
American Money Line gambling odds
The odds for favorites are accompanied by a minus (-) sign and indicate the amount you need to stake to win $100. On the other hand, the odds for the underdogs are accompanied by a positive (+) sign and indicate the amount won for every $100 staked.
Example: Back in October, the bookmaker has offered odds of +2500 for Jayden to win the Heisman. Therefore, you need to risk / bet $100 on Jayden winning the Heisman to make a potential win of $2500. The higher the number, it means the lower he odds of an event happening.

FSU may not get in. But they wouldn’t be getting “screwed”.
Injuries are absolutely part of the decision making process.
They aren’t a top 4 team with a backup QB. No metric no honest metric puts FSU as one the 4 best teams now. None. They are a double digit dog to the other 5 or 6 teams in the hunt for the top 4.

Florida State is undefeated, if they don't get in then the System is fricked.
It's not a Popularity Contest, it's a playoff.
Michigan, Washington, Florida State and LSU(ok Texas)

As much as I hate bama if LSU was in this same position they deserve to get in over FSU. Sucks losing your QB but nobody want to watch FSU get blown out in a playoff game.
No LSU wouldn’t and I would never act like Bama fans claiming so. An undefeated P5 with a legit schedule and a major OOC win should never be left out.

They just won their conference championship by double digits against a top 15 team. How is that not good enough to hold onto a top 4 spot?

FSU made it through the first part of the season undefeated. They’ve earned a spot in the final 4 where they will get destroyed.

Why do people keep saying this? Their 2nd string QB will be back for the game who is way better than that freshman and their defense is good enough to hang with anyone they play against. If they are matched with Michigan, I could definitely see them beating UM considering how weak Michigans pass game is and how dominant FSU’s dline is.

doesn't matter if they get knocked out early, two teams are getting knocked out early. happens every year no matter who is playing. somebody has to lose. FSU deserves to be in there.

Which offense is going to destroy that FSU defense?
