must be a BS article, cause the school of music was still doing a search for the new Tiger Band Director when all this went down.
Plus Frank retired at the end of the spring semester so he still would have been director even though they haven't had one practice since footballs season was over.
If this wasn't BS then she was probably just named temporary director or something, she never got the job again trust me I know

but I know one thing the School of Music was still doing a search for the next director of Bands (thats what franks position was) before all this came about.

its not I know some of the facutly at the school of music so trust me I know
my memory may be off but I remember the reveille article was kinda BS the search was still on for the next band director and all of a sudden the reveille is saying that Morehouse is the next director.

ill say this it could have been a thing that just incase the school of music wasn't able to find a new director for the fall then she would be named temporary director.
I know this for sure, the search continues for a new director of bands so even if she was named director of bands then it was only a temporary position

Linda has a change of title to director of bands
this title change was as she said in her email to lessen fears of the AD

When this was made both LSUsports.net and the Reville assumed she was going to take franks place.
But she had as great as a chance as every one person who applied for the Job if she did.
The search was still on going she got a job offer from U of I and took it.

You may call me a moron but ive known about all of this stuff for awhile again I know people who work for the school of music and they know people who well are in direct contact with linda. I can't really say who or how I know them just cause I don't want to give away who i am, but everything im saying with the exception of a few mistakes like linda's job title are correct.
