LSU cant run the ball
LSU can't run the ball because we have no vertical passing threat! Are you fricking people watching the same games I am???? Jefferson threw one pass over 10 yds all night! Just throw one 60 yds down field 1 time a game. At least the safeties will respect the pass. He is scared to death to throw an interception!

People calling for Lee need to go back and watch some of the 2008 games.
but last year doesnt matter, for some odd reason.
Sitting the bench has magically made JL a great QB who wont throw INTs.

so, he "looks" uncomfortable every time he drops back to pass. is it his facial expression? damn hard to tell with a helmet on, don't you think? "he locks on LaFell at the beginning of every pass play". if that were true, i don't think he would be our QB. i believe i'll let our coaching staff handle this over doug moreau. i just can't buy comments that contain "he looked.......blah, blah on every play." or "he thinks too much" or "he's thinking this.....". nobody knows that crap! sometimes, it's obvious when a player doesn't know what to do; he calls timeout or he shrugs.

JL got worse over the season, and you want to disregard that for, what? What you saw in the spring game? Hell why not, throw JL in there again. But dont expect miracles. This OL wont allow much offensive success.
So what do you know about JLee this season? Has he improved his reads? Has he learned to read defenses? I mean, you seem to know everything here. Fill me in. frick, I'd like to know why he's not in....because Jordan Jefferson sure the frick isn't getting the job done.

I was at alot of the 2008 games and what i recall from lee, was a kid who could move the line of scrimmage and get us in position to score alot of points.
yes he made some bonehead mistakes, but are we supposed to assume that he will show ZERO improvement year to year?
there's a reason sr qb's are better than freshmen. they improve.

jacory harris got hand the starting job the middle of last season and he made the same mistakes jj is making now so bs is out the window.
Harris might have made the same mistakes JJ has made, but JJ ain't never thrown the football like Harris does.
Have you seen Harris in some of those games...quick release, quick strikes, and hauls arse when nothing is there.
No comparison...except maybe the mistakes.

Let's throw RS in there and ruin him, too.

LSU couldnt even run the ball against ULL. The OL gets no push. The lack of passing game of course hurts, but those undersized guards and center are outmatched.

Body language.
he panics, his head starts to swivel, his feet get happy, etc.

he is a one read QB
he can't make a 2nd read to save his life, as shown by all the sacks he takes.

Exactly. It's a coaching problem.

What is there to lose if JL comes in and sees what he can do this yr. It can't be that painfull for one series a half. Then we have to face the fact we have no QB's. Then I can go fishing.

Just say that it's time to give Lee another shot. You'll feel better. I promise.
Hello? Lee stared down his receivers and threw it even if they weren't open. Seriously?! At least Jefferson takes sacks instead of gives up pick 6's.
I think his main problem is JL of last year. The coaches and JJ have it ingrained in them not to throw a pick 6, so they don't want him to have to do a lot, and he doesn't want to screw up. Everyone at the game says that there were Tigers running open, but I think JJ won't throw the ball outside for fear of a pick 6.
Plus, we can't run the ball or get an o-line to protect the passer worth a shite. That interior of the line gets there butts handed to them constantly.

Gotta agree. No pocket presence..he looks to LaFell then panics. But, OLine sucks too. 5 guys can't block UF's 3. And Crowton's scheme is worn out. Too predictable. The combo of all those things is killing this offense. O Line needs changes. QB spot needs attention. Maybe should have put Lee in for a series or two. Shep has been making things happen. I would have put him in and let him throw once or twice. New wrinkles?? None! Same ole non effective plays?? A bunch. Need new stuff. Use the talent. Dickson? Where was he the whole game for the dunps over the middle?

Sure he has! Sitting the bench always improves a QB!

True enough, but we said the same thing last year at this time.
So we've had 2 4-star QBs who regressed over a season...you think thats just coincidence, or maybe they arent getting adequate coaching?

I'm sure that's all he does during practice too

He isn't handing the fricking game to UGA on a silver platter, either.
