Go back and watch the game on the geaux zone and then come back and post what you think was the problem. I just watched the whole game.
It is not Crowton. Jefferson has absolutely NO pocket presence.

Doug said it best. "Jefferson looks uncomfortable every time he drops back to pass, whether in the shotgun, under center, or rolling out. He locks on LaFell at the beginning of every pass play and if JoJo is covered he has no idea what to do so he just takes off running."

No question he is 100% right. He is limited as a quarterback. All of you know it. We have to have some vertical threat in the passing game and JJ does not give us that.

And don't give me the whole JJ is a young quarterback BS. Jacory Harris is the same age and he has total reins of Miami's offense.

Watch the video. It speaks for itself

i hate to agree bc that means we have a QB controversy on our hands, but its absolutely true.

ive been paying attention to how he acts in the pocket since miss state and it hasnt been pretty.

Sure JJ is very hesitant to throw the ball and holds on to it way to long.

But the fact our 5 OL'men can't block 3 DL'men doesn't help.

Our problem on offense is a little bit of both.

If it was a good enough excuse when J. Lee threw 16 picks and 7 pick 6's then surely it can be a valid excuse for JJ.

I am so sick of people comparing stats Prominentwon. I think we agree on this.

Stats can't even win a player the heisman trophy. Your team has to win. And if you're QB can't handle it you my friend are doomed.

Crowton is the offensive coordinator and QB coach, it is his responsibility to put the soph QB in a good situation in which he can use his physical abilities and playmakersin order to gain positive yards. when it doesnt work in the first five games, something has to change in playcalling, personnel, and formations. So I disagree, Crowton and coaching are the problem areas

Just say that it's time to give Lee another shot. You'll feel better. I promise.

Yeah because no one wanted JJ to play last year when Lee was struggling. What board were you reading?

Well if we have two QBs on the roster that just suck, then I guess we need to try RS. B/c apparently the coaches cant do anything with these two QBs, and these coaches cant possible be to blame for JL's and JJ's lack of development. Poor LSU just keeps getting saddled with 4-star busts.

If it isnt Crowton's fault that JJ isn't improving, then it mustn't have been Crowton's fault that JL didnt improve last year. Which means...both players just suck and the coaches cant do anything with them.

The same people bashing JJ are the same ones defending Lee when he was playing crappy. I kind of understood lee throwing picks but when he threw the ball into the stands on the 3rd and 2 against bama when he could have ran for it,,,,,That did it for me. How can you lead men when you are scared of contact.
