Can't blame these kids for wanting to enjoy the recruiting process and visit other schools. Free trips, meet chicks, free meals... It is up to LSU to continue to recruit these kids as hard as they can and, most importantly, perform on the field. Be a contender!
Welcome aboard Mr. Wright. We are looking forward to great things from you! :nana:
The recruiting has been very good...its the coaching thing that bothers me a bit. Hopefully we can ge this offense geared up for next season. With the talent, there is no excuse....except maybe at quarterback...we shall see. :whodat:
LSU has lost a lot of oline commits over the past 4 years for various reasons. Nevertheless, we certainly need some improvement there. And a new coach there.
Rabid fans, nice weather, tanned babes, Tampa and Miami within hours, Disney World, great stadium, great well spoken untra competitive coaches, the beast of the SEC East, win a lot, dominating attitude, fans actually stay til the end of games, player development, Gainesville kinda sucks but can take the babes off to the beaches or WDW on the weekend, constant parade of Heisman candidates, has had lock on Florida recruiting for a while...hmm..what else?

The Lanester has NCAA investigators parked outside the football complex. Some sort of probation would soon be coming. And your going after Phil F? Come on! You just ran him off. He cannot recruit any longer. Go get Rich Rod so Les can take his dream job at Michigan!

Record wise it was. Nice is a good way to say it. Stat wise it was UGLY and also it did not pass the eyeball test which is what most fans are irate about.

+1 The eyeball test...lol..it was downright painful to watch at times...a lot of times

Yeah..I wish LSU would have at least cleared the property by now. It is a darn shame that the venerable ole stadium is a rat infested catastrophe. But I think LSU is working on plans to redevelop that whole area including the housing next door to be something very nice with business outlets.

I agree with wooden nickel, Chad Jones obviously was a valuable player/athlete but it seemed like he relied mostly on speed and athleticism and never really had or developed football insticts or a feel for the position. With Loston coming in, I don't think it will be too damaging to our defense.

So he does not want to change the system so that JJ has to learn a new system?? JJ can't be taught this system!! SO, let's move on!
I don't think Saban goes anywhere. He will never get his ego stroked more than what Alabama will do for him. His godlike status at Bama and the opportunity to overshadow Bear Bryant feeds his enormous ego like nothing else ever could.

Be prepared for another shitty year with the 112th offense. A team that is constantly in the BCS games should never have an offense anywhere close to the 100's. He should have been fired even before the Penn State game.

+100++
is it mandatory that it get rolled over if he gets 8 wins?
Bama also taking late interest in Jackson..fwiw

:wah:
if he stays, it should be very easy to get cheap tickets by mid next year
OK, given that we could have easily lost to MSU, Ark, even UGA and with departure of best olineman (Black), a few RBs, best WR, quite a few D players with extensive experience..anyone thinking better than 7-5 next year with tougher schedule is smoking..something. No development of JJ in 2 years, 108 in offense? Are you kidding? What does it take to get fired at LSU?
Why play for this inept LSU offense?
I'm not overly concerned with the recruiting gap either...although UF and Bama are loading up on some top studs. And losing Mike Davis does suck. I'm more concerned about the ineptness in coaching on the offensive side of the ball. OLine and playcalling are horrific.
