I could see this being a next level move my Coach O. Apparently he hasn’t taken football/school seriously in general. We need him to this year. Giving him a wake up call like this in February could be the one thing to motivate him to be ready in September.

Let me be clear, IF this is for weed, I think it’s fricking stupid how stringent our compliance office is regarding how it handles weed. However, again IF it is for weed, what a complete and utter fricking dumbass Starks is because it’s not like he didn’t know the consequences of it.

Of all positions to get trouble, a LB? Opportunity awaits this young man on the field, almost a open competition for starting LB's next season, get it together, Hopefully he learns and gets it straight

This could probably also mean that Jacoby Stevens moves permanently to LB. He's big enough and fast enough and can cover TEs and RBs

Why is our compliance Department such hard asses for weed violations. Unlike Bama and pretty much any other school in the conference. Why are we even doing this? Also be known for this cannot be good for recruiting.

Hasn't that been code for rehab at least once or twice, with a return later? I hope it is in this case. Some folks need a wake up call to get the act together.
I had one or two guys working for me, back when I had people that I managed, who needed something like this one time then they got it together and became some of the better employees I dealt with. I hope that happens here.

Not stupid at all. He’s being suspended for lack of discipline, not for smoking weed. The weed is the subject of the lack of discipline. Lack of discipline is why we see so many millennials out of touch with reality and also why the NFL is becoming a clown show. When you try and justify breaking rules because of your personal beliefs, you’ve set yourself and your team up for failure.

Two things can be true at the same time. Our compliance department can be assholes for how harshly they delve out penalties for weed and our athletes can be morons for continuing to smoke weed while they know how harshly they will be dealt with if/when they’re caught.
However, we’re not even sure that it’s for weed. It could be for something completely different.

I agree, but Louisiana will be among the last states to do it. Major lobbies for both parties are profiting too much from the status quo to allow any changes to happen.
