Don’t wanna look too far ahead but am I crazy to think we match up well vs Bama?

Offensively I believe we move the ball at will with Finley or breenan their defense is not the same defense at all. Defensively yes we are very up and down but I even believe we match up decently with them defensively. I think stingley will be extremely motivated to shut down Devonta smith after he embarrassed him last year and I believe ricks can compete against Metchie. Even with no waddle I still am concerned about flott against their slot receiver as he has struggled in coverage this year and Najee if Clark is starting will run all over our defense. However, looking at this matchup I truly believe we will give bama all they can handle

we can't contain the run and we can't cover anyone outside of our 2 starting CBs.

Uhm no. Were not going to match them point for point. Their offense has been unstoppable to this point. Even against a good defense in UGA, they dropped 41.

Ole miss did and we have better personnel on both sides then them. GA offense going scoreless in the second half and continuing to their defense back on the field didn’t help

I think ppl are underrating how much Mac loves to go deep on the outside. I think stingley and ricks have a chance to cause turnovers

It will be a shootout. Their defense stinks nearly as much as LSU. Harris is going to eat all day though.

Smith, metchie, and Harris will torch this defense. Won’t be pretty.
Yes I know we have Stingley and Ricks, but the safeties and linebackers are our issue. Plus their o line is insanely good, so Mac will have all day to pick us apart. It’s not a good matchup.
A good matchup for our D is a straightforward old school offense with very little motion or misdirection.

they have a great OL. we have to get pressure. This game comes down to two things.... getting pressure and running the ball effectively/ controlling clock on Offense

Our offense may match up well with their defense, but certainly not vice versa.
