Only a sophomore, but I can easily see the NBA falling in love with his energy and height for a PG and leadership. I don't think he jumps this year barring an amazing second half of the season, but I can see him maybe after next year.

Yes, he is on the radar, If he keeps improving and all areas, in 3 to 5 years he will be on a nba roster.

One radio guy the other day indicated a scout told him Quarterman is as good a prospect on the team now even over Martin and Mickey.
He still needs polish but at that height he does have that off guard size to guard the bigger 2/3's in the NBA and scouts will love that.

yes, bc he's so versatile and has great size. It's very much a guard's game these days.

absolutely. He needs to keep improving to become more consistent w/ his outside shot and bulk up. But he's a big guard who can handle the ball and defend. He's got more upside than Garret Temple and Temple has made a nice career in the league.

Better all around player than Garrett Temple; certainly can shoot better and when he needs to he can D-up with those long arms like Garrett does. Just has to get with the right team and right coach after his time in BR.

Dude I'm hearing if TQ performs like this in SEC tourney play and on a major stage like NCAA tourney he may go Lotto. His size and hustle and defensive potential will bring all the scouts

If he can bulk up and improve his shot he would be a nasty combo guard.

Yes, he must continue to develop his body. He reminds me of a Satch Sanders (old school Celtic) type of player.

I think there's a very small chance he leaves this year but I think we hold onto him at least through his junior season.

Has to be more in control with the ball.
Has to work on creating his own shot.
Has to work on shooting from 15-20 feet.

Will be a good backup in the NBA for years with his defense alone.

Quarterman reminds me alot of Jalen Rose when Rose was at Michigan. Not a great shooter, very good defender, rebounder, and can run the point.

I think he is a player who gets drafted. Not this year, but I've said for a while that he is the most likely player on this team to be in the league more than 5 years. He can make a living as a guy off the bench who can guard a superstar and play either PG or SG. Similar to Temple, but more upside offensively.

The fact that his FT % went from 54% last year to 80% this year shows me he has work ethic that can help him perfect that three point shot, and get his body NBA ready in a few years.

If Garrett Temple can make it, TQ can as well. If he continues to progress, I see him in a Trevor Ariza type role in the league.

He offers similar skills to guys like KJ McDaniels, Elfrid Payton, Langston Galloway

Yes.

His height, length, wingspan, and defensive prowess and energy make him an intriguing prospect. He's actually similar to Garrett Temple IMO.
