I’ve said this for 2 years. He can’t get off of blocks. Weeks is far more prototypical LB. Both are undisciplined in the read option.

I totally agree. There have been games where he has played the entire game and you never saw him make one play. He doesn't know how to drop in coverage and he doesn't know when to pursue the ball. Can anyone name one play in the last two years that he's made that affected the game?
You can only live on that first year so long! These are pro athletes now and I'm pretty sure he's making close to or over 1M a year for sure, so it's all about making plays or ride the bench.
He's just not an elite player, period. He's so bad that I think I would say former 5-star players Sage Ryan and Masson Smith have made more plays than Perkins over the past two years, and I didn't even know that was possible.

Dude….last year Perkins had 75 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, 6 PBU’s, and an interception.
That’s a pretty damn good year. And he was hurt for the majority of this year. The way some of you guys rewrite history is wild

As we've seen previously, you don't want HP out there in a position where he has to think a lot!
He needs to be a Pass Rushing Specialist and that's it. (OLB in a 3-4, then move him around from the strong to weak side)

Everybody on the team has to earn their spot everyday. If Nussmeier turns into Anthony Jennings over the spring and summer, even he wouldn't be starting.
