Yep I agree. If LSU does put statues up Dietzel has to get the first one and it’s not debatable

I mean yea we hate the guy, but he did win us a championship

NO! Saban was never a Tiger. money and gone.

he still talks about how much he liked BTR and the friends he made but left for [NFL/buma (debatable)].

Nick Saban is all about Nick Saban.

so again hell no.

Erecting statues of any living man is a mistake. Alabama has this wrong and we should not aim to copy them.

No...he wasn't here long enough. I give total credit to Saban for making us more than relevant and laying the ground work for our great program. The guy worked miracles. All credit goes to him, but just not here long enough to warrant a statue.

how bout credit to Skip for bringing in Saban?

Skip let him go as well.

No, Dietzel either. They both voluntarily left after a short stay.

Statues for outstanding athletes only. Plaques or something more subtle for outstanding coaches since they are part of the paid staff.

Never, we don't want to look at a statue everyday of the man that beat us for 8 years

I don’t hate Saban. But a statue? You can’t be serious. It’s enough he’s being inducted into the La Sports HOF. Leave it at that.

He won a natty here, and I would not be upset if he had a statue along side Dietzel, Miles, and CEO.

He would have to be long retired from Bama.

No. We never do because of 2011. frick him.

But if we ever do, It should immediately become tradition to toss a handful of bird feed at its base every time one passes by.

We can just add garden gnomes in flower beds around campus. That should suffice.
