He's loyal but not to the point where he allows teams to hang 40+ on us. You just can't expect to win like that. I think there is a possibility he goes after someone at the end of the season.

yes. he will probably be forced to do it even if he doesn't want to do it.

our d has been piss poor and its unacceptable at LSU to allow 50 point games over and over.

No. Unless it gets worse. LSU would have to lose to either Ole Miss, Arkansas or both badly, in order for Miles to make that move IMO.

If we finish 11th/12th in defense in the SEC, I say absolutely yes. Remember Tepper.

don't know. Can't look at some point in his career where he had something like this. At OSU he was limited on his budget so he couldn't hire a better DC than Bill Clay. He's had success here so we don't really know.

If any other team hangs 50 on us this year I would think the chances will increase greatly that we would get a new defensive coordinator. The Alabama game will be huge.

I am also just curious though. How many of Lee's turnovers led to GA pts?

Yes.

Or if the trend continues the TAF will be hiring more than one coach....

i dont see him being able to be as loyal as gerry was to lou.

different times from back then. Now any trouble at all is a huge cause for concerns and LSU hears more backlash for any problem now bc way way way more money is now invested in the team.

Yes, it can get worse.

And yes, I think he would make a change, unless the D shows improvement over the rest of the season.

He better not be like DiNardo and refuse to admit he made a mistake in hiring. If so he will gone by end of 2011. LSU/TAF has way too much $$ tied up in facility upgrades and can not afford empty seats.

No, unless he is forced to, which would not happen until the end of next year IMO. I don't recall Les' Okie State teams being very good defensively either and don't think he made DC changes there either.
