I agree.

Look, do you want to play not to loose with Hatch, or do you want to play to win with Lee?

Why in the Hell do we watch football in the first place?

If you want to have a chance to win with Florida, Bama, or Georgia, then Lee needs to start the next game for game experience and confidence.

He may screw up and may cost us a game, but he may also win us a game that Hatch will not.

All that said, if USC and OK win out, we will be the Auburn of 04 even if we win out.

Lee must start if we want a realistic shot at the NC next year.

Wow,he throws a pick 6 in the first half, then gets back into the game because of Hatch getting knocked out and displays himself unbelievably. Not only do we win, but,he was error free when he got back in.At Auburn his first real test and you say he scares you. When he beats Georgia,Florida,Bama etc. I can't wait for what you have to say.WOW!

I agree with coach Les Miles on this one! This subject is the perfect opportunity to just go with the coaches decision. They seem to be doing a pretty good job so far.

As long as he isnt looking over his shoulder waiting for Les to put in the other QB, hes going to be ok!

He actually threw a couple lasers to Lafell on that one drive. Very powerful arm.

The way he came back last night says it all. Hostile environment, first real road game, down late in the game, and what does he do? He leads us to a comeback...twice!

We need to face it. We are not going to go undefeated this season, so I'm not sure what we are so afraid of. Lee appears to be the guy right now and while I agree that he will definitely make some mistakes, its clear to me that he's the qb of our future, unless somehow Jefferson steps in at some point in the right circumstance and wows.

I think I have heard this before?

am a lot more comfortable with Hatch at the helm.

In other words you are comfortable with an offense that cannot produce anything through the air. He is not a SEC caliber QB. Great he can run, but we saw how limited that can be last night.

That is wrong! His dad was his high school coach.

I saw that but I think the announcers were wrong. I remember from his prep ticket video that he said he played o-line all the way thru pee wee ball then went to a football camp and switched to QB. Also his father is a HS coach so I doubt he would have held him out that long.

Wikipedia is not the most reliable source but it says that he threw for 1,700 yards and 18 TD's at Brownwood HS before transfering to Brenham prior to his Jr. year.

He is going to throw a lot of ints. The game winner could have, should have been picked off.

But he has shown improvement. I still want to see JJ get some time.

BUT his quarterback play scares the hellout of me. You never know when he will forget what color jersey he's wearing and throw a preventable pick. I thought this before the AU game, and he still scares me

Make an appointment with a psychiatrist. Prevail on him to prescribe anti-anxiety medications. Take the pills as prescribed. Get over it. Everyone, even Payton Manning, makes bad plays from time to time.

If the defender had a rocket in his butt or ten foot long arms.
I was as nervous and surprised as anyone about the throw. From the TV view it appeared to be a close play. From another angle it was apparent that the defender had no chance at the ball.
It was a perfectly thrown ball for anyone except a freshman whose "quick six" was still on everyones mind.

The camera angle shown by ESPN made it look that way. But it was actually a very good throw. It was right where you want it to be, low and away from the defender.... Lafell ran a great route, great throw, great catch.... Gutsy? Hell Yea! But it worked! Enjoy it...

I think you gotta give either JL or JJ the snaps for the majority of the year, I am sure AH has a ton of heart, but he cant win it with his feet or his arm. That is a bad combination.

I personally cannot believe that some of you negatigers actually were scared by Lee's play and want Hatch? You have to be joking, 16 yards passing in the first half from him? That is a joke. We are as good as we are going to get if we stick with Hatch. Lee might not of looked like a heisman quarterback, but I saw a lot of talent last night and I was impressed, and I think he will get more and more impressive the more games he plays as the main QB.
